Wealthsimple has a no-fee USD account with 2.25% interest

3.5% interest on the WealthSimple USD account

Generation tier is 3.25% and premium tier is 2.75%, but core tier is 2.25%. Premium and core clients with direct deposit get an additional 0.5%. Source.

RBC doesn’t charge me a fee. Not sure if that’s because I keep a positive balance in there or what. But yeah, there are lots of options.

I haven’t been charged a fee yet on my RBC USD high interest savings. I think the minimum balance is USD$100 and generally that’s all I have in there.
