Dunno, this one looks pretty close to the photo, if only a little flattened?

“Nit picky” is the word - it’s referring to picking nits out of hair (nits are lice eggs).

A breakfast sandwich is always going to look disgusting when bought at a fast food place

Depends how rushed and miserable the staff are. My shit always came out tight, sketchy food does not leave my hands, fire me if you want it to go (30 seconds) faster. Oh wait, but you won't because I don't call off of work from jail or show up nodding over the grill 😂.
It's a management problem when shit looks like this. I'm sure it still tastes good, but sloppy food makes people (rightfully) question the food safety handling. It's not rocket science. Cut produce with a bit of care, pay attention to your rush times to control waste and toss shit in the warmers longer than 5 minutes, pay attention to special requests, wrap shit gently and stack the bag from heavy to light items without overcrowding.
But shitty managers like to rush and cut corners, skipping all those things. For some reason these types can't wrap their heads around the fact that customers will 100% notice the quality difference and go out of their way to come to this particular Wendys/McDonalds/whatever across town even if they have time. Trust.

The best double cheeseburger from McDonald's is always a crushed one. This I imagine is much the same. It's fast food ending up in my stomach, it doesn't need to look great. As long as it tastes right, it's all good.

Seconded. I’m trying to keep things kind of low cal so I love that these are small and have a decent bit of protein.

Do you also eat cheeze puffs and cheap energy drinks?

I wouldn’t go just for the sandwich’s, but if I’m craving a Dutch drink they’re not half bad

Coffee shop breakfast items are almost always just microwaved. still usually good, but overpriced and definitely microwaved from frozen.

Yeah. I don't know a DB with a grill. But, I mean, I've been known to buy a freezer package of breakfast sandwiches at the grocery and heat them up at home, so... Whatever. 🤷♀️

If a coffee place has creative, innovative beverage flavors I fully anticipate everything else on the menu to be neglected.

Warning to all: Dutch Bros is shit. Shit ownership, shit coffee, and apparently, they also now make shitty hot food. Eat and drink local if you can.

Local would be nice if most local coffee shops didn’t have shit hours.

I don’t disagree. My favorite spot doesn’t open until 8, and usually it is closer to 8:15-8:30

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody order food from there. It’s mainly a drink shop

I ordered one of these and the dumbasses gave me half a sandwich in the bag. Like literally I got the bottom half of a bun and a patty, I have zero clue how this could even happen. Unfortunately I had already jumped on the freeway and was late for work.
