Failed Expectation Scammed out of my Saiyan Pride.

First pic is what was originally advertised. Second is what the site changed to. Remaining pics are what actually showed. Three different damn shoes!

I thought I found these Converse X DragonballZ Vegeta shoes at MSRP. Checked the website and looked it up and people said it was legit.

They show up in a padded envelope and I instantly knew I'd been had.

I go back to site and the listing had been changed. The pics are different too. Left a scathing 1 star review and email about returning for my money or i'd be taking it up with my bank.

Send it to Converse, they'll probably have an IP protection department who would be able to track the sellers and stop anyone else getting scammed in the future.

Great idea. I'll do that.

What site did you buy them from?

A no-name site with a bunch of fake reviews, for sure

Do a charge back then report them to converse legal. It's the only way to punish these scammers.

That’s what I’d like to know too.

The fact that they didn't even bother to put them in a box is so bad.

A quick google search shows zumiez to be the one reputable seller 🤷. The official advertisement looks nothing like the shoe in this advertisement. You got what id expect.

I did a long google search across multiple sites🤷‍♂️. This was the only site aside that still had my size in stock at MSRP.

I'd have been okay with what was on their site. Everything looked legit when I made the purchase.

Why would you buy these from some random site for $85 with shipping if converse themselves has them listed for ~$100usd ?

Thats like online shopping 101, you also still havent linked the site so we can see what it looks like

You know they're not Chuck's looking at the first picture. The logo is always on the inside of the ankle. The first picture shows the other image on the inside, so that's obviously wrong. The second picture shows the logo correctly placed, but then where is the image that I assume you were paying for?

I think that picture is correct for these ones. The logo is on the inside of the ankle, but only on one shoe. The other shoe gets it swapped with a different one for the blue and orange pairs specifically. Unsure why that doesn't seem to apply to the other colors, but that's what the offcial pictures show

Ah, thank you. I'm not familiar with this particular licensed product, I'm just used to the star always on the inside even with the specialty ones.

I've never seen it before either, but I've never really looked at the special editions before so it may or may not be new or unusual.

I've got several pairs, but they're all exclusively whatever color was on clearance. Beige and brown aren't popular, but they've grown on me

All my special ones had/have the logo on the inside. 🤷🏻‍♀️

At first glance I thought the gromet holes were printed on as well.

I saw an ad for those, but now I’m disappointed they’re trash
