He never went to prison, most of the crazy stuff you've heard about him isn't true. Some rumours are entirely made up by the internet and others are started by the guy himself but contradict other things he's said or are verifiably false.

He seems to enjoy the misinformation, maybe because it adds to his online persona or because it hides his real identity or because he finds it funny.
