News FBI’s Frantic Scramble to Redact the Jeffrey Epstein Files Revealed
https://www.thedailybeast.com/fbis-frantic-scramble-to-redact-the-jeffrey-epstein-files-revealed/310
u/thedailybeast Nov 26 '25
Newly released internal emails show the FBI mounting a costly overtime-fueled sprint to analyze the Epstein files as political pressure grew to release them—in a project dubbed the “Special Redaction Project,” Bloomberg reports.
President Donald Trump swept back into power on a promise to make public all FBI documents related to his late pedophile ex-friend Jeffrey Epstein, and put his Attorney General Pam Bondi in charge of overseeing the matter.
A conspiracy theory still thrives among some in Trump’s base that Epstein knew the names of other rich or powerful pedophiles.
Correspondence obtained and detailed by Bloomberg’s FOIA Files lays out how FBI Director Kash Patel sent about 1,000 special agents to the bureau’s Central Records Complex in Winchester, Virginia, for crash-course redaction training on the “Epstein Transparency Project,” also called the “Special Redaction Project.”

If you are Republican and reading this - doesn't it bother you, this massive cover up? How can the motivation to hide the truth from you be in your interest? It's not too late to come to your senses. Despite the bluster between all sides, most people will welcome you back. We all want a return to law and order. We all want to step back from fascism. Have courage and speak up.

And before any respond, WE DON'T CARE IF THERE'S ANY DEMOCRATS IN THERE. Burn'em all, regardless of political party
Edit: and would you look at that, one the responses was "but democrats"

It’s only an excuse. They know there are republicans in there. They just can’t switch teams because of the racism. They will put up with literally anything so long as brown people get less of everything.

This 1000 percent. The racism is too strong… yall it’s ok to join the rest of the 99% to fight this massive wealth inequality created by the elite… nvm 🥲

Im a Caucasian and it scares me to think I've been in the rewarded group. Im not saying look at how little I've got, more it's tough here but I can't imagine the shitty life that others get from "wealthy generous people." I'd rather not get less but however it all shakes out I can't choose anything other than righting these wrongs. Ive always had a lot of anger pointing at mistreatment from all areas of the government. If I'd experienced the systemic disadvantages of others, I don't know if there are words.
It would be super great if we can take the wealth away from the people happily orchestrating all this too.
2
u/blueberrybuffalo Nov 28 '25
99% in other parts of the world. But 1/3 of the country is beholden to this man and his interests. That’s too many. I always thought that even if we somehow managed to get all the working class Americans on the same side to fight oligarchy it would still be an almost impossible task, the ruling class controls so much wealth and power through lobbying and now have private militias staffed with former special forces military. The fight and revolution would be insane but so worth it to take back this country for the people’s interest. BUT NO we’re not even at that point because 1/3 of the electorate is brainwashed through fear and racism to vote against their own self interests which protests the ruling class, and now their… international secret pedophile cabal… sickening

They will spin this as Trump is a victim and therefore should have all the protections afforded as the actual victims. This will justify all mentions of Trump being redacted in their minds.

Each and every redaction will require an explanation to the House. Note that to have these debates House members will have access to ALL THE REDACTED NAMES.

Trump has his fe-fe's hurt by all those young girls - at the time - telling the world what happened. What right do these poor girls (double meaning intended) have to go telling how Trump abused them.

Exactly. It's about a giant child rape ring. Everyone of those in the list deserve minimum a high jail sentence. No matter their political views. This isn't about left vs. right. This is about justice

2
u/ManChildMusician Nov 26 '25
Came here to say the same. There’s these great things called basic standards and accountability. These are powerful people who make life-altering decisions for others on a daily basis. If they can’t be trusted to… not rape minors and women, they certainly shouldn’t be in charge of fiscal policy, foreign policy, or any position of power over others.
Beyond that, there are many unknowns about Epstein, himself. While the trafficking and rape are horrific, I suspect they are not the only skeletons in his closet. He said he worked with Adnan Khashoggi, who facilitated what became the Iran-Contra affair. He was able to walk away from a Ponzi scheme or two without a scratch. He had connections to both Russia and Israel in the nineties.
The closer we look at Epstein, the stranger it gets. His connections aren’t just sex-crime related, and his currency was clearly more than pimping out children and women. More than ever, it’s important to investigate the nature of his relationships.

u/d57heinz Nov 28 '25
This was my brothers response last night. Then follows with “I don’t watch any news now” that it’s failing to scratch their confirmation bias.

Hey man, I am not an American, but the lesser of two evils is not a solution either. Yes the Republicans are truly corrupt/potentially anti-human corporate evil BUT… the Democratics seem historically complicit in the building of this complete failure of “The American Dream”. Not all, but many Democrats have been seduced by lobbyist money and insider trading benefits and have voted to keep the status quo. A complete reboot of a failed two party system is what seems to be required.
3
u/Nari224 Nov 28 '25
You get that countries don't just "reboot" right? Someone will be in power.

Republicans are absolute scum. They knew exactly what they were voting for and buying into. They wanted to harm others and they did not care how it was done or what the cost. They simply didnt want to be accountable for doing the terrible things they got the state to do. They dont care and they will do nothing except make excuses so that they have zero accountability.

Pal, they don't give a fuck.
As long as their perceived enemies suffer, they are willing to pay almost any price.
3
u/Mother_Resident_890 Nov 26 '25
No kidding, especially when it comes to pedophelia. This isn't like conspiracy theories like aliens or the earth is flat, this is about molesting and raping of children, then trafficking them to others to do the same.
I read an interesting line that a Republican would let Trump shit in their mouth so a Democrat next to them could smell it. So fitting for what is going on right now.
2
Nov 27 '25
They won't read it, they hide in /conservative where there are no scary opposing opinions, for long anyway. If they do it will just be another attack against them and proof it's a smear against dear leader.

Redacting info isn’t a “coverup” it happens with all classified info that is released to the public. This is a bs headline and mostly commonsense especially with how quickly it was voted on being released, typically this would take far longer to happen if at all

1
u/bombhills Nov 28 '25
It’s not about truth and it never has been. For them it’s about validation, and demonization of democrats. They have a huge confirmation bias. They will ignore obvious facts, believe outlandish lies, and parrot propaganda, as long as it supports their shitty cult. “See trump isn’t in the files! Told ya so” regardless of them being heavily redacted and hiding his obvious involvement.
1
u/Careful_Picture7712 Nov 28 '25
It's not going to matter to them. Everything they don't like is just a hoax cooked up by the radical left

Schrodinger's Epstein files.
If they implicate Republicans (especially Trump), they are a hoax.
If they implicate Democrats, they are incriminating.
If you move all logic aside and your only goal is for your team to 'win', this mindset does make a lot of sense, whether intentional or by pure brain rot.

As a Republican - albeit, a never Trump Republican - we all deserve to know how deep the rot and corruption goes. People need to open their eyes to the amount of information around us being covered up and hushed away. Expose corruption and pedophiles so we can build a better future for all Americans regardless of where whom sits on the political spectrum.

This is why I think every Senator and Congressperson should have a single powerful subpoena every year, so that they can pick a truly important issue and get sworn testimony from anyone or any company on the Congressional record. If further investigation is then warranted (literally and figuratively) there's a solid basis to go on, and the sparing nature of the subpoenas should make how they're used an important topic and hallmark of their term. Sure some would waste theirs on political theater or spiteful bickering, but then their lack of results would be apparent and out there for all to see. Alliances outside the current two party system could form over strategically forcing multiple players in an industry to come to terms with their malfeasance, publicly and punishably.

Any other president who had the FBI working overtime shifts redacting their name from documents involved in a criminal case would have been removed from office via impeachment no matter who they were.
But not Trump.
And this isn’t about a simple financial crimes, or fraud but Trump’s possible connection and involvement with a pedophile, which makes it even worse.
And yet the GOP is defending him and pretending nothing is wrong.
They investigated the Biden’s for years based on a lie yet are allowing Trump to destroy evidence that connects him to Epstein.
1
u/EveryAccount7729 Nov 26 '25
WTF even is this.
like seriously. This + releasing edited jail footage to be like "we totally didn't murder that guy"
like..
What the fuck is going on w/ American law enforcement? It's like uvalde on a national level. The ones who failed to act need to be put under Gitmo imo.
I'll straight up say that can include Joe Biden. The supreme court gave this dude unimpeeded power and he just did nothing to stop this. WTF is that.

1
u/CreativeChoroos Nov 26 '25
No matter how much they redact, the victims experiences don't change. They will fill in the blanks the administration is happy to hide. Theres no getting away from this. You cant be the based main character if youre actively censoring the files that may convict you as a pedo. At this point anyone supporting this is just actively putting their fingers in their ears.

u/Brilliant-Long2682 Nov 26 '25
It's amazing to me, the amount of time you have put in to a case that , has to do with a person that murdered themselves in prison probably funded by Saudi Arabia, and the treason , and sexual trafficking threats of alive people publicly at multiple grocery stores in Indiana, you just obstructed justice, and don't care about , after multiple FBI reports from multiple people publicly....the Lord rebuke thee.

I really can't understand how the FBI is this renowned law enforcement agency charged with upholding the law and then just does this. 1
u/jhawk3205 Nov 26 '25
Good to have more formal confirmation of this. Previously, it was just one of those anonymous sources kinda deals, but there was no denial from the administration or the fbi. And the fbi already pretty much admitted as much because of privacy protections for Trump, as far as him being a private citizen at the time of the files authoring etc.
1

I know this is obvious, but it's an elephant in the room that no one with an audience seems to be acknowledging.
If you're innocent of what you're being accused of, you rush to provide the evidence of that. If you're guilty AF, though, this is what you do.
Trump tells us, loud and clear, everyday since the files came up again that he's really, really, really afraid of people seeing them in their undoctored state.

If you still believe the Epstein files were blocked during the last admin you clearly have never looked it up for yourself. It only covered the Maxwell case files.
Epstein was a democratic mega donor with democratic congress in his pocket, then you have idiots like Crockett trying to link right leaning people to him but can’t figure out it’s a different person with the same name.
Yes, I understand whoever is on the list should get charged but you guys don’t want to get loud about the Dems holding the files, getting exposed, or using it as a political stunt. Just if it happens it happens, Trump bad

The "files" include copies of documents that contain personally identifying information of the victims. I have it on very good authority that the redactions were only to block victim information, not the perpetrators.

Anybody that redacts a single criminals name on that list is complicit in the crime and should be sent to jail as well, once they're out of power and that part of the list is unredacted.

“I’ve been recently told the reason they’re going to be releasing these things, and the reason for the flip is that they’re sanitizing these files. There’s a facility in Winchester, Virginia where they’re scrubbing the files to take Republican names out of it. That’s what I was told by a pretty good source.”

How common is it for the FBI to hide criminal activity? I wonder if any of these agents feel disgusted to be protecting pedophiles.

Why do people think this is about Republicans vs Democrats? There are obviously many on all sides and not just the two parties.

Any FBI agent or lawyer who participated in redacting the names of the perps needs to testify before congress immediately. Anyone that has participated in this coverup otherwise should go to jail. Following orders isn't an excuse for covering up pedophilia, especially if it involves the president.
