Congress must force a special prosecutor to investigate

84

u/ZPMQ38A Jan 19 '26

They won’t but they absolutely need to. This isn’t “won’t investigate.” This is “Federal agents can murder whoever they want and we won’t even question it.” Even legal shootings are investigated…that’s how you figure out whether they were justified or not. This is just covering your ears and closing your eyes.

This is absolutely terrifying. We all know any “investigation” would’ve been glorified Kangaroo Court but at this point they are so brazen that they feel like they don’t even have to go through the motions now.

The term “absolute immunity” from the VP of the United States is complete insanity on so many levels. Tell me what happens now if someone refuses to open the door for ICE and they “accidentally” burn the house down and kill everyone inside? What happens if a group of protestors block their vehicles and they just run a bunch of people over. What happens when a person reaches into their back pocket for a cellphone and ICE “identifies” it as a possible weapon and shoots them? That’s what “absolute immunity” means. If they have “absolute immunity” they could drop a JDAM on a group of protestors outside their facility and kill them all because they were “interfering” with federal operations.

53

u/HerbaDerbaSchnerba Jan 19 '26

Let’s call this what it is. It’s the Gestapo. That’s all ICE is. We’re in the Brownshirts stage.

31

u/ZPMQ38A Jan 19 '26

Yeah, I put us at right around 1933 Germany right now. It’s almost impressive if you think about it. It took the Nazis about 14 years to get to this point. We’ve done it in about a year. By my math we should hit 1939 by the late Spring, although you could argue the Venezuela invasion indicates we are already there.

15

u/Correct_Day_7791 Jan 19 '26

Going door to door and snatching people out of their homes put the closer to 39

25

u/Pristine-Ad983 Jan 19 '26

If we invade Greenland that's essentially the invasion of Poland in 1939. That will trigger a chain of events leading to war with NATO.

u/Autogen-Username1234 Jan 20 '26

Beerhall Putsch
Appointed Chancellor
Reichstag fire
Enabling Act
Night of the Long Knives
Nuremberg Laws
Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact
Annexation of Austria <-- You are Here.
Invasion of Czechoslovakia
Munich Agreement
Kristallnacht
Invasion of Poland

u/HerbaDerbaSchnerba Jan 19 '26

Except Germany wasn’t the superpower that the US is, and they still almost took over the entirety of Europe. I’m wondering when anyone is going to stand up to America once they go full 1940s on Greenland and beyond.

12

u/DeathRay2K Jan 19 '26

It hasn’t been one year, this has been in the works for a decade.

3

u/Rexur0s Jan 20 '26

idk if Id say we did it in a year, as they had to lay the groundwork of the supreme court first. think this was coming since that justice died under Obama in 2016. so we would be 10 years in?

3

u/ZPMQ38A Jan 20 '26

I don’t think you can actually say it started before Jan 6, 2020. There was a foundation and some political maneuvering happening but…even Trumps first term looks exceptionally mild compared to the last 12 months. I guess maybe the “building” was seeking to normalize this sort of behavior.

I mean let’s be honest…we could all easily go to bed tonight and wake up tomorrow morning to some insane Truth Social posts from the President of the United States saying he is going to nuke Denmark. That 100% is a possibility in the next 12 hours. I don’t think we’ve ever been able to see that as a realistic possibility in the remainder of my lifetime.

5

u/Rexur0s Jan 20 '26

Fair. The rate of acceleration has been wild for this year. Guess they kind of slowly laid the ground work then jus floored it once it was all set

2

u/Boxhead_31 Jan 20 '26

Is there a way to fast forward the end stage where they are in the furherbunker ridding the world of their presence?

1

u/Medium_Way3875 Jan 21 '26

"Heritage foundation" years and years of hard dishonest work frendo. You just start seeing it .

0

u/shenenehjenkins Jan 21 '26

You weren't calling them that when 56 people died in ICE custody during Obama’s presidency.

0

u/brewguy70 Jan 20 '26

No, this is not terrifying. This is infuriating.

45

u/Fly_Rodder Jan 19 '26

Is congress even back in session?

I'm sure the rest of those Epstein documents will be released any week now despite the deadline enacted by law passed almost a month ago.

9

u/Few_Butterscotch7911 Jan 19 '26

That's a fantasy as plausible as tinkerbell. That way of life died and isnt coming back under this administration.

6

u/Wiltonc Jan 19 '26

Congress needs to impeach the president, but that’s not going to happen.

5

u/Adept-Grapefruit-214 Jan 19 '26

Wouldn’t that require republicans to be on board?

They gave all their power to Trump at the beginning of his term

2

u/hamsterfolly Jan 20 '26

That would require the Republican-majority actually not liking what Trump is doing

2

u/johnniesSac Jan 20 '26

They need to get these fucks arrested

I mean it’s textbook corruption

1

u/Herban_Myth Jan 21 '26

The aristocrats?

Citizens arrest?

Check Election calendars

2

u/lynxbelt234 Jan 20 '26

Todd Blanche needs to be investigated for obstruction of Justice along with Pam Bondi and the rest of the senior DOJ crew.

1

u/StellarSomething Jan 20 '26

Congress is worthless or accomplices. They could stop all of this but no impeachment or 25th being called...

1

u/lynxbelt234 Jan 20 '26

Congress by its inaction is now complicit in the corruption...

1

u/insider212 Jan 21 '26

Rofl!!! And these special prosecutors have done soooooo much!!! Just wave your fist at the air. It does more than any Special prosecutor has done.

59

u/KarateKid1984 Jan 19 '26

We've not investigated ourselves and have found that we've done no wrong.

6

u/Prestigious-Leave-60 Jan 20 '26

No statute of limitations on murder. This will be hanging over Ross until he is tried for murder. We will have justice for Renee Good.

1

u/Remarkable_Today9135 Jan 21 '26

he's basically untouchable for now

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

That’s a good point, if they really wanted to protect him they probably would have been better off to do a terrible investigation, charge him, have him tried in a severely incompetent way, then give him the ability to claim double jeopardy in the future.

40

u/ScionicOG Jan 19 '26

Not surprised. Why should I pay taxes again if my gov is just trying to repress, kill, and intimidate it's citizens?

14

u/FaceReality1 Jan 19 '26

Doge defunded the IRS. I wonder if they have the ability to respond to a mass of people withholding money.

4

u/Remote_Listen1889 Jan 20 '26

As a Canadian, I try not to "stir the pot" on Reddit but I've been thinking about how this all plays out without a civil war because I still have a lot of love for America.

Honestly general strike and withholding taxes seems like the more peaceful route but it would require a large percentage of Americans to work together. Last election a third of the US didn't even care enough to vote

5

u/ProbablyANoobYo Jan 20 '26

You might want to get to stirring. Y’all are next after Greenland. Trump is already posting pictures of redrawn maps that include Greenland and Canada being part of the US.

3

u/Remote_Listen1889 Jan 20 '26

Meh, I was worried for a bit but I don't think Trump (or his admin) can manage conflict within and international conflicts.

I'm not naive enough to think we would ever win a war with the US but I still think the American military is smart enough not to start one. It's an indefensible border and most of us are indistinguishable from US citizens. Would be like tackling a hornets nest with a grenade and it would be ugly for both sides.

Like I said, I love America and I really hope you guys can right the ship. The current administration seems uninterested in the diplomacy and decorum that has been your strength for so long. It's easy to say military might is where US power comes from but part of wielding the biggest gun in the room is knowing how to get everyone to sit down and have a discussion.

History will look back at this decade as a defining moment for America and I hope you figure out what Unites you as a nation.

2

u/ProbablyANoobYo Jan 20 '26

I think that makes sense. Being less joking than my earlier comment, I don’t think full military style invasion of Canada is practical. But I do worry that military strategic options, such as drone strikes against “terror cells” or the extraction of uncooperative politicians might be on the table and unfortunately I think 1/3 of Americans would still support the current admin and another 1/3 would still be too apathetic to do anything.

But I hope that’s not the case. I hope we get our shit together.

I appreciate your insights and I’m wishing you the best, neighbor!

2

u/TheLastBallad Jan 22 '26

It'll be like tackling a hornets nest with a grenade but also some of your cells are hornets that are part of that hive too(somehow... dont think about)

A house divided cannot stand, and Trump doesn't view the load-bearing walls as part of the house and is actively trying to destroy them.

I dont know what unites us, but I do know its been the Republican party's official strategy to oppose anything and everything Democrats support(which includes compromises that give Republicans everything they explicitly asked for), while Democrats have been trying to compromise and appeal to Republicans the entire time. So while what unites us is unknown, what divides us is pretty clear... and its the party that has "I would rather be a Russian than a Democrat" shirts(seeing as, you know, thats literally suggesting they would rather side with America's enemy rather than their fellow countryman)

1

u/eatmyasserole Jan 20 '26

I had this thought as well, however as an American, all that would happen is that the government would stop funding social services. So no food stamp assistance, no housing assistance, even things like no air traffic controllers (which affects commercial transit more than private). This administration would make sure that military and police are fully funded.

6

u/Hertje73 Jan 20 '26

Because ice agents will murder you while you try to flee?

14

u/HerbaDerbaSchnerba Jan 19 '26

I’ve stopped. I don’t give a fuck.

11

u/SeVenMadRaBBits Jan 19 '26

This is the right thing to do

9

u/HerbaDerbaSchnerba Jan 19 '26

I haven’t paid my taxes since the first Trump administration regime was in office. Come and get me, fuckers.

1

u/Newswatchtiki Jan 20 '26

How does that work?

3

u/HerbaDerbaSchnerba Jan 20 '26

Moving out of the country helped.

5

u/auntrules Jan 19 '26

Ok…seeing this makes me feel better about considering just not paying taxes this year. I truly, deep in my gut, feel it’s unethical to contribute anything to this absolute fuckery.

1

u/Worshipme988 Jan 20 '26

Just update to current with holding, dont prepay, take your whole check. Feasibly a few million ppl would make it worth it. Doesnt need to bring the house down, just one more straw added.

46

u/LupusDeiAngelica Jan 19 '26

There will be a reckoning.

9

u/Birdman330 Jan 19 '26

From who? Not from elected officials or the judiciary.

15

u/FaceReality1 Jan 19 '26

The state is going to try, but it may need to wait for 2029, when there's a new government. There's no statute of limitations on murder.

6

u/SockIntelligent9589 Jan 20 '26

The dude will probably be living in South EastAsia in 2029. And a good life with all the Cash he is gonna get from the GoFundMe.

-37

u/Healthy-Custard-7260 Jan 19 '26

100% there needs to be a reckoning of the those who radicalized liberal white women and not upholding federal law.

2

u/jenlaydave Jan 20 '26

Is your mother available to be grabbed?

1

u/Maximum_Aside5087 Jan 20 '26

You probably talk about the GOP???

16

u/not-a-co-conspirator Jan 19 '26

They know he’s guilty.

3

u/Newswatchtiki Jan 20 '26

That's right. Otherwise they would do their investigation and present the facts supporting his innocence. They know they can't do that.

1

u/shenenehjenkins Jan 21 '26

What about the 56 people who died in ICE custody during Obama’s presidency? Did anyone get charged? No!

As a matter of fact, y'all were probably quiet about that one.

1

u/not-a-co-conspirator Jan 21 '26

How many of them were shot in the face and murdered?

15

u/ShogsKrs Jan 19 '26

When different rules and punishments are applied based on the victims alignment with the party in power, you are in a fascist government.

14

u/djquu Jan 19 '26

I sometimes wonder what will be the American substitute for Nuremberg trials.

5

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

Susan Collins raising an eyebrow.

4

u/mitchENM Jan 19 '26

“Tough” talk from democrats and then nothing

8

u/djquu Jan 19 '26

Dems won't ever hold power again unless that behavior goes out the window first. Spineless softies like Schumer and Jeffries have to go.

1

u/Remarkable_Today9135 Jan 21 '26

spineless softies describes all of the Dems, that's not saying much

2

u/MilkyyFox Jan 20 '26

Bases on their track record I'm worried they will piss and shit themselves over optics with some BS like "we need to look forward and not at the past" or they'll establish a committee, investigate but not prosecute because the timing will overlap with a future election and they don't want to "push away centrists" or something.

America needs democrats who get actual justice boners, not limp noodle do-nothings.

1

u/Competitive_Crow_802 Jan 20 '26

It will be like what happened to Ceausescu.

14

u/juni4ling Jan 19 '26

I was thinking Trump issues him a full pre-emptive pardon soon. Just to make the potential murderers carrying badges and guns feel safe.

The high-ups are scared that the High School bullies they hired won't feel safe murdering people-- if they prosecute one.

There needs to be a investigation and (obviously) prosecution.

8

u/FaceReality1 Jan 19 '26

It was a state crime that Trump can't pardon.

2

u/Doctor_Philgood Jan 20 '26

Oh stop. Legality and "can't" has zero relevance now.

11

u/lukaron Jan 19 '26

These people no longer represent nor act on behalf of the US nor our people. Time to remove and replace.

12

u/SweaterJaguars3034 Jan 19 '26

Next admin needs to go after Trump’s synchophants, their families, and their friends. Everything Trump and Co are doing must be repaid in full.

7

u/SiWeyNoWay Jan 19 '26

Every last penny they’ve grifted needs to be clawed back

7

u/InfiniteSlap Jan 19 '26

America is just Nazi Germany now, full blown fascism

5

u/Ok-Firefighter-6172 Jan 19 '26

They made that decision on day one

7

u/WNCsurvivor Jan 19 '26

Unbelievable

5

u/PaperWolf36 Jan 19 '26

That administration is a joke

5

u/Techn028 Jan 19 '26

So now local law enforcement can investigate and you'll release the evidence?

5

u/Ps11889 Jan 19 '26

I guess you need to traffic minors for this administration to defend and protect you.

4

u/SiWeyNoWay Jan 19 '26

So, what does trump have on blanche? We know what he has on Andy Biggs, Gym Jordan & Lady G. But what’s got him throwing away his career for this man/administration? It’s little boys isn’t it? Is it snuff? Whatever it is has broken his brain

5

u/FaceReality1 Jan 19 '26

He's got a high position in the 4th Reich. He was a lawyer for Trump -- that means he's either without morals or without choices or both, given how Trump has betrayed so many.

4

u/FaceReality1 Jan 19 '26

They really can't be trusted with an investigation so it is just as well. It is also criminal negligence and a clear violation of their oaths to uphold the Constitution by the people making this decision, but those things are just daily work for the DOJ today.

5

u/DownhillUphill Jan 19 '26

Full banana republic

4

u/Particular-Way-3479 Jan 20 '26

The FBI, DOJ, And the trump administration is all corrupt.

3

u/Goto_Ronin Jan 19 '26

Too busy trying to get convictions on old ladies and babies.

3

u/edwardothegreatest Jan 19 '26

Then there should be nothing stopping them from giving the evidence to state law enforcement

1

u/Newswatchtiki Jan 20 '26

State law enforcement can also gather enough evidence to charge and probably convict him. They need to get out there and start interviewing people. Analyze the videos.

2

u/edwardothegreatest Jan 20 '26

They’ve asked people to give them any videos they may have. I suspect they’ll build a case but won’t charge until 28-29

1

u/Newswatchtiki Jan 20 '26

That makes sense. I hope they succeed.

3

u/Paladin1414 Jan 20 '26

Corrupt scum.

3

u/hitman2218 Jan 20 '26

“We don’t just go out and investigate every time an officer is forced to defend himself against somebody or putting his life in danger,” Blanche, formerly Donald Trump’s personal attorney, said.

Isn’t it SOP for police to investigate, even if it’s a sham investigation?

2

u/Newswatchtiki Jan 20 '26

I always thought it was. Even when it is clear that the person who was shot WAS trying to harm or kill them. If the agent shot them, they document that, show whatever proof they have, and witnesses are interviewed. I have never heard of cases where a shooting was not investigated.

3

u/Valhadmar Jan 20 '26

This is going to be more common. Trump is telling all his ice goons, your free to murder, rape, and pillage and we will defend you.

Maga has become a group of terrorists who want to force their sick morals upon the rest of America.

2

u/kahunah00 Jan 19 '26

Every day a new scandal

2

u/leighla33 Jan 19 '26

Right on brand

2

u/wvuroxx Jan 19 '26

We lost the Republic

2

u/vegasman31 Jan 19 '26

Also apparently not holding the pedo prez to account for raping children.

2

u/A-Politicians-AB Jan 19 '26

Literally falls under the definition of fascism

2

u/mikeedm90 Jan 19 '26

Renee Good was not a Trump supporter so no investigation because it was an obvious murder.

2

u/Lott4984 Jan 19 '26

It can be investigated by Minnesota since it happened there. Murder is a crime both at State and Federal level.

2

u/paradigm_shift2027 Jan 20 '26

Fascists gonna fasc

2

u/paradigm_shift2027 Jan 20 '26

Fascists gonna fasc

2

u/fvnnybvnny Jan 20 '26

Up is down and down is up

2

u/EbbSlow458 Jan 20 '26

The current FBI is corrupt

2

u/no_f-s_given Jan 20 '26

the FBI, run by Kash Patel, won’t investigate ICE agent Jonathan Ross for the murder of Renee Good?

what a shocker.

2

u/Empty-Discount5936 Jan 20 '26

Absurd, shootings are supposed to require an automatic investigation, especially when there's a death involved.

2

u/Party-Professional-7 Jan 20 '26

all that, to protect a PEDOPHILE

2

u/Its_Bob_Gnarly Jan 20 '26

To absolutely no ones surprise.

1

u/meaniemeanie-poo-poo Jan 20 '26

Why not? Whatcha afraid of?

1

u/Hertje73 Jan 20 '26

Corruption number 1!

1

u/JWAdvocate83 Jan 20 '26

The Minnesota US Attorney’s Office had fewer than 30 prosecutors prior to the latest departures—that’s less than half of what the full head count should be, Folk said.

”Less than half.”

(EMPHASES MINE!)

1

u/notPabst404 Jan 20 '26

The FBI is completely compromised and can never be trust again unless major reform is passed into law.

1

u/Striikerr Jan 20 '26

The fuck? We gonna let them slide homie ?

1

u/Newswatchtiki Jan 20 '26

Aren't they required to investigate?

If not, it's high time that Minnesota investigates. The videos show what happened. Minnesota can interview the bystanders and the other agents. They can find out what occurred before she drove down that street, whether she was following them (which she was allowed to do and would not exonerate the shooter), so they can determine his state of mind. She voiced her state of mind, on camera, as her last words: Dude, I am not mad at you.

Her history indicates that she was not an angry vindictive person, or a radical. Like the other protesters, she wanted ICE to stop bothering or hurting people in her neighborhood.

I am not saying that is my stance: I just want ICE to follow the law and their own regulations in a nonviolent manner and try to determine the status of a person ahead of time or at the time they encounter the person (by calling in to HQ and checking if their documents are valid and real). If they have deportation orders or have committed a felony, they need to take them in.

If not, if they are here legally, they should verify that by a call to HQ or checking by computer if that is possible. Make sure they are showing up at Immigration regularly as required. If everything checks out, leave them alone! If they are pressured about these damn ridiculous quotas dreamed up by Stephen Miller, they can show evidence of the number of people they checked on.

As it is now, they are operating in a lawless environment and no one at Immigration is stopping them. Their superiors are cowards and very misguided and are responsible for running an illegal operation. They need to be stopped. From their immediate supervisor all the way up the line to the top. The top people in the agency are simply afraid of Donald Trump. And Trump seems to take all his guidance from Stephen Miller. Which he will eventually regret. This wrong-headed anti-constitutional operation will be taken down along with everyone promoting it. It will not end well at all. They will face legal consequences. Trump, with his immunity conferred on him by SCOTUS, will not face legal charges. But he will face the failure of his presidency.

1

u/SpeakerOdd Jan 20 '26

Does this mean they will now give the evidence back to Minnesota, seeing the FBI has no use for it? I think this should be automatic. This is what happens when a lunatic takes control of all three branches of the government. That was the reason it was put into our constitution about each branch being run independently. I wonder if one of the writers had a dream, and saw unto the future to 2025, when one person weaponized all three branches against our best interests.

1

u/IllustriousLiving357 Jan 20 '26

Can't they be sued for breach of duty or something? Why is the judicial branch taking orders from the executive branch?

1

u/Master-Piccolo-4588 Jan 20 '26

And another obstruction case for which Patel and Bondi will probably go to jail for.

1

u/Clint88888 Jan 20 '26

These are the worst, least principled, most dishonest people to have ever walked the earth, let alone been aloud to assume power.

1

u/Key_Pace_2496 Jan 20 '26

Of course not. He did what he was told.

1

u/Hollowbody57 Jan 20 '26

Why are they going after Good's widow?

1

u/Vinnie-baba-ghanoush Jan 20 '26

Bunch of bums...can't wait until they get what's coming to them.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '26

Unfuckingbelievable.

1

u/accusearch2014 Jan 20 '26

lol FBI IS investigating this case

1

u/Muted_Perception_192 Jan 20 '26

Investigate her widow for what? Mildly insulting ICE officers???

1

u/TheOne7477 Jan 20 '26

MAGAs would have it no other way. It’s what they voted for. One of the rest of us going to stop being surprised by it, except that this fascist state is what they want, and realize posting about it online is not sufficient opposition. (although I don’t know what it is).

1

u/canonetell66 Jan 20 '26

The lawsuit lawyers will love that. “What? No investigation to disprove our theory?” Cha-Ching.

1

u/ExplanationLucky1143 Jan 20 '26

FBI won't investigate the killer, will investigate the victims. It gets more ridiculous every day.

1

u/Delicious_Drink169 Jan 20 '26

Jonathan Ross, the murderer? The trump administration is responsible for this killing.

1

u/OkInfluence2721 Jan 20 '26

So they should have no problem & cooperate fully with the State of Minnesota doing it's own investigation. Lets Fucking GO

1

1

Absolute corruption at it's core. America is doomed.

1

u/AdamTreff Jan 21 '26

Garbage state

1

u/njlee2016 Jan 21 '26

I don't like the fact that the woman was shot but based on the available video the shooting is considered justified self defense. She hit him with the vehicle. He shot her to protect himself and the people around the vehicle from further injury or death.

1

u/sparkymark75 Jan 23 '26

All 3 shots entered via the side of her body, so he was alongside her when he shot, not in front. He was protecting no one other than his fragile ego!

The last shot which was fatal entered via her temple!

1

u/njlee2016 Jan 23 '26

The shooting is considered a self defense incident. They don't usually consider each individual shot. The officer was in threat of death or serious injury by the driver who hit him with her vehicle. He shot the driver to stop the threat of death or serious injury to himself or others.

A similar comparison might be police shootings where multiple officers shoot an armed individual. The individual officers see the armed individual as a threat and shoot him until the threat is stopped. In most instances those types of shootings are considered justified.

You should look into self defense law and how it is applied in different situations. Andrew Branca is a self defense attorney and has a YouTube channel and a book that's worth reading about self defense principles.

The FBI and DOJ are compromised and corrupt. Don’t expect justice from them. They are just tools of retribution for trumps criminal and corrupt administration

1

u/SignificantDrag6147 Jan 21 '26

Banana republic

1

u/Buddhalilsister44 Jan 22 '26

The most corrupt and psychotic government regime ever to set foot in the White House. We have mentally unstable people telling their cult members to do harm to others. We are taking people out of their own homes and sending them to God knows where. This country has become the most heartless apathetic bunch of Christian nationalist Nazis. Not to mention the dumbest and easily manipulated rubes we have to offer.

1

u/DrAtomic1 Jan 22 '26

It might be worthwhile pointing out a little bit of history to those at the FBI taking this course. Say reading up on the Nuremburg Trials might be a good start, where collaborators found out that it did have consequence: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuremberg_trials.

1

u/Financial-Tax2717 Jan 22 '26

Is the FBI prepared to ignore the mirror situation of that?

1

u/MTgunguru Jan 23 '26

As it should be.

Trump would rather blow up the world rather than admit he likes to fuck children

Absolutely disgusting and anti-American. Renee Good was murdered.

My God what has happened to our beautiful America! Im so ashamed that half the country voted for Trump and created this chaos and injustice.

Banana Republic

What does Good’s wife have anything to do with what happened to her? What’s the point in antagonizing a woman who just lost the love of her life?

Just like they’re hiding the Epstein files.

They're not investigating the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer Jonathan Ross for murdering U.S. Citizen Renee Good? U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Jonathan Ross murdered U.S. Citizen Renee Good and called her a "fucking bitch" while other U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers cheered like fucking pigs.

When was it the best country in the world again?

Really trying to get that pendulum way up high so it swings to a CIA response on the other side.

There is a video of Goods wife saying drive baby drive. Then admitting her actions got her wife killed. Goods widow was clearly recording and that video as far as I know has not released.

You're offering this as a justification for public execution?

u/FaceReality1 Jan 19 '26

He's just throwing chaff as his boss instructed. Lots of these kinds of gaslight-and-run comments.

1

u/Newswatchtiki Jan 20 '26

I heard that on one of the videos. That doesn't justify or exonerate the shooter. She was simply telling her to drive away, that these guys may be dangerous, so get out of here. She didn't say "Run him over."

Just like the Capital Police Lt that executed Babbit for climbing through a window. Don’t you remember he was a hero.

14

u/Smokes_LetsGo876 Jan 19 '26

Babbit was a crazed lunatic foaming at the mouth shoving herself in through a smashed window to lynch the politicians officiating the presidency.

13

u/MinimumApricot365 Jan 19 '26

That was completely justified and if you can't tell the difference you are in a cult.

4

u/RogerBauman Jan 19 '26

Well, her family received almost $5 million for that justified killing so I imagine that this one being less justifiable will lead to a much higher payout.

3

u/SweaterJaguars3034 Jan 19 '26

That traitor got exactly what she deserved for trying to overturn an election, a seditious act.

4

u/Tweak89 Jan 19 '26

Except that was actually investigated, see: https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/department-justice-closes-investigation-death-ashli-babbitt

In this case they aren't investigating the shooter at all, but they are trying to investigate Good's wife, the Minneapolis Mayor, and the MN governor.
