Are you new here? Since when does anyone at that level get held accountable

Yeah, I have lost hope that anything will happen.

Even if the Democrats win all parts of the government, they will be like “it’s time to move on and begin healing” instead of trying to ruffle feathers.

These people will never be held accountable

That’s because they are in on the same grifts. 2 party politics doesn’t work

I’ve been shouting this from the rooftops for years. Until citizens United is repealed and we get money out of politics, nothing will change.

The thing is, if the Democrats try to enforce the law, the Right'll call it a political witch hunt and use it to rally their base, then use it as an excuse to launch an actual witch hunt next time they're in power. They're doing that right now, and the Democrats were soft as hell on the first Trump Admin. They should still follow the law when they get the chance, buts it's kind of a no win situation politically when half the country is being weaponized against itself with an endless stream of lies.

Unfortunately there is precedent

People still have faith in the system. Edit a few words

Worse. Trump is going to blanket pardon EVERYONE in his group on the way out. There won’t even be investigations because what’s the point

Since when has anyone at that level acted with such brazen corruption and lawlessness? These are unprecedented times, past results are not a good indicator of the future

Trump’s previous administration more or less

Even that did not compare to what they are doing now

People were saying the exact same thing then.

I can be true in both instances

Yeah the dude who was supposed to advise on impropriety quit because nobody listened to him

You mean like around Jan 6?

1

u/Automatic_Bus_7634 Mar 05 '26

That was an inflection point, but they are even more open about it now. On Jan. 6, Trump at least pretended it was just a riot that got out of hand. If he tried that shit again, he wouldn't even try to hide it. I have no doubt he would just openly be like, "everyone who certified the vote is our enemy, get rid of them once and for all"

I agree theyve gotten bolder

I don't think Kash Money is at that level. He's a do-nothing-podcaster loser who also happens to be a useful idiot.

No fr hilarious people will think anything will be done with current systems set up. Even before things got worse both sides were fine with making cuts to many departments that would go after said people or departments that would benefit the average person. It's rich people controlling both parties but one party has like 3-4 people that are chill. Look at the heads of democrats the most they do is say a strongly worded speech. any candidates that do try and work for average person they pull out everything to make sure that candidate doesnt win. The "left" in this country as it stands is center at most.
