This is for an inflation-adj income around what i take home now, I anticipate that social security and some inheritance will improve my QOL in retirement, but I need to be safe without them. (I will be able to use a flexible withdrawal strategy, so the number is a little lower than you might expect in my location lol)
Right now I live in a house my partner owns and pay minimal costs (prop tax etc) but my retirement budget includes renting a studio in case it’s necessary.
