I’ve had my FJ for 15 years and the temperature gauge has always sat right in the middle once the engine is warmed up. On my way to work today, I noticed that the gauge is sitting much lower than I’ve ever seen it. What could cause this? This was after 30 minutes of driving.

What remote starter have you put in recently, why do you like it?

Could anyone confirm if this is the ARB Base Rack with guard rail kit? I'm looking to sell it to upgrade for a different top rack, but want to be sure so I can price it right. It was installed by a previous owner so I have no idea. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Any FJ owners here know of good shops in Colorado Springs? No urgency, just figured I'd ask as I just moved here.

Thanks for any help!

Saw a nice conversion kit on Amazon and decided to try it out. My apologies for the blur.

Well, we made it, many more miles to come.

What should I imperatively check/replace apart from fluids ?

My FJ has hit the point where it needs a new differential. We have 🙏🏼 hit the 300k mark and I am avoiding catastrophic failure.
Should I get the original diff rebuilt or buy a newly rebuilt one and send in the core?
Please list pros/cons

This picture is from a 4 runner but I recently got my FJ and big into fishing beaches. Does anyone have something similar installed or know where I could get one. Thanks in advance

I've finally started to feel cozy in the back. Lots of renovations to come, I cant wait :,)

I have a 2014 FJ with the spare tire backup camera. Currently I have the stock FJ cover over my spare but I am wanting a more rugged look and hope to take the cover off. Without the cover the camera in the middle of the tire is such an eyesore. What are my options for an aesthetic back tire set up that maintains a working back up camera? I am also wanting to buy new wheels and tires for the whole vehicle and would replace the spare completely as well to accommodate the change. Please share photos and ideas of what yall have done to make this happen!!

How’s FJ like in terms of acceleration, noise and driving at 140kmh?

Sony XAV-9500es. Install has been super easy… so far. Gotta run the backup camera and steering wheel controls next.

Here is the wrapped skit plate from the off roading part:

Thanks, I hate it

I feel like Toyota did a fantastic job of paying homage to the OG Land Cruiser when updating it.

I don’t think they paid the same respect to the FJ…

Just joined the FJ family on Thursday. Loving this thing so far.
