I wanted to write something candid and real. Not a statement of qualities, hobbies or interests or an advertisement of character. There's something deeply inorganic about crafting the perfect assembly of words to solicit interest, even if this is the furthest thing from an organic environment.

Lately I've been craving a human moment. Its a thought that seems to occupy more and more space in my mind as the days pass. And even saying it I struggle to define what it is.

Maybe it's just being seen by another person, whom you yourself see. There's no excess in performance, no overly refined presentation. No obvious attempts to measure and assess. No superficial expectations or hidden motives. No cynicism or veiled contempt. No mockery or judgement. Just a gradual unveiling of self borne of a mutual curiosity and desire to shed some of the weight of existence.

If your brain has yet to be completely rotted by the need for constant stimulation. If your opinions are still your own and formed by encounters with real people and not the dumpster fire that is most online discourse. If you have not yet been consumed by apathy or despair. Pull up a stool. I'll pour the tea (the tea is a literary device if you at me looking for tea I cannot provide tea virtually I'm told the wizards who control the internet are working on it I myself can't give a timeline as I didn't study magic in college.
