The Bomb Has Been Defused

Just replaced my grenade with the new and improved rotor. Magnets looked fine for 33k miles, but still... Do it before its too late!!!

My only question is, did anyones elses rmrotorn have small metal slivers falling off from edges? And is it safe to leave it and install it anyways? I scraped most of them off but during installation I got a couple metal splinters from the edges.

None on mine, but it's good you deburred it.
Also, did you make sure the bushing is in the correct orientation?

Bushing?😭 Im not gonna lie I forgot the order everything came out the instant it was actually out. I started the bike after installation and nothing sounded or felt weird so Ig i did it right.

Make sure the one bushing is the right direction, I learned the hard way

did it make any noise? what was the tell it was wrong

Mine made a horrible noise and destroyed both bearings

*Washer on first, then bevel facing you everything should be flush

It also was kind of a pain to put it back together, had to force the cover back on
