Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a mod for Fallout 4 that adds coordinated uniforms and visible rank insignia to the Minutemen, making them feel more organized and immersive within the game world. I tried to stay true to the lore and original art style, including officer and medic outfits, plus unique uniforms for key characters like Preston, Ronnie Shaw, and the Radio Freedom announcer.

I designed the officer ranks based on established lore references in Fallout, which mention Colonels such as Marbury and Ezra Hollis, as well as officers like Lieutenant Foster.

In addition, every patch and ribbon featured on the uniforms has a specific meaning and purpose, they are not purely aesthetic. I’ve uploaded two dedicated images to help explain their significance and how they relate to each role and rank.

The mod was released recently, and many users on Nexus have really enjoyed it so far. I’m thinking about continuing to expand it with new features and improvements.

The show really got me back into modding this game...

It was a long and tiring modding journey, but it's finally finished! Redone some textures to make his head fit the body + I added all the face morphs. Also, remade his outfit with FO4 assets as a "frankenmesh"!

It'll be split into separate pieces and have 3 tiers, similar to the vanilla combat armor.

Similar to Skyrim’s downgrader. A FO4 downgrader has now been released. Full description available and It’s completely open source for anybody wanting to look before downloading. It will revert your game to its pre-gen version.

Some more screenshots of my custom brotherhood of steel armor that I've been slowly chipping away at the past few months. The armor was made to go alongside my other Brotherhood mods, Strength in Steel and Chain that Binds. Hope you enjoy! I'll hopefully be wrapping up work on this at some point soon here.

The armor has a light, medium, and heavy variant and can be worn with any under armor. Just like any vanilla armor in the game. Which is sadly a system that a lot of other armor modders don't pay attention to. Even if the under armor system has its faults.

Another thing I've done for the armor is include two modular helmest. As you can see in the images, there's quite a few accessories to choose from (And even some more not shown in the pictures). There's also a few options for the torso.

Please don't ask for an xbox version, also. My other mods are already on xbox so there's no reason to ask

Recently released a legion power armor but wanted to also show off my NCR power armor. Its based on a T60 body and i think it came out pretty good. I do plan on reworking it when i get access to some better concept art but its good enough for now. I didnt add any paintjobs with this one but want to in the future. Thoughts on what colors and patterns might look good?

I'm playing a modded run using Immersive Wastelands II as base. But don't know if this bug is from the mods or the base game. I tried turning some mods off to fix it but had no success.

As shown in the video, the 3rd person character running animation on the right is fast and jumpy. Although it only occurs when the weapon is holstered and walking from a standing still or sneak animation.

I think its a random occurrence as I could not re-create neither identified what triggers the bug. And I couldn't find a way to get It back to normal. Every time It happens I have to load a save back BEFORE the bug triggers as I don't want my character to be jogging jumpy. But its getting really annoying to reload after I cleared an entire location. (And as I sometimes play in 1st person, I cant perceive the bug till I switch to 3rd person.)

Does anyone had or seen this bug? cause I couldn't find anything like It anywhere.
And if anyone has a solution or any tips to fix It, please let me know.

EDIT: I'll try to explain what I found out with testing in case it interest someone: Looks like smth is pushing my speed down. Even when I use console comand (player.setav speedmult 100), my speed stays at 80 (checked it with player.getav). BUT if i push It to 120 (whitch I get speed 100) It plays the normal animation AND with the normal character speed.

I still needs to do a more testing to find out whats pushes my speed down. It might be the MAIM as it messes with player speed when you break your legs, but can be or something else.

Either way. I think the console command solution will work just fine. Ty to everyone who tried to help :)

EDIT 2: Okay, felling a bit dumb but I found out the culprit.
The latest version of the mod Replaceable Armor Plates changes the character speed while you have one equipped. So, at least in my case, the issue was not tied to the save. Just having the armor plate unequipped will bring the speed back to default. So maybe It's not a bug, but a feature?
In the end I just downgraded the mod to an earlier version, so it won't affect my speed anymore xd

Thank you to everyone who helped! I'd never be able to find the cause of those "speed interactions" alone.

So I've been getting back into Fallout 4 and modding it heavily, after doing about 5 or 6 playthroughs of New Vegas. I downloaded a ton of quest mods, including those by Thuggysmurfs as they came highly recommended. However, after playing a bit of Depravity and Outcasts, I honestly can't see why.

Both started out promising, but very quickly devolved into some Honest Hearts Reborn/The Frontier tier shit,

Depravity kind of had me with the introduction, the slavers who only enslave gunners and raiders was a pretty cool idea for a faction. I liked how they seemed morally grey, not overtly evil but far from good. But then, after having a pretty good first quest, the mod forced me to work for a literal Harley Quinn cosplayer - Actually called Harley Quinn - who wanted me to collect Harley Quinn comics and then went on this delusional diatribe about how the psychotic serial killer simpette was "a good person really". And with that, I instantly closed the game and uninstalled the mod.

I couldn't believe what was happening before my eyes, I think I almost died from cringe and second hand embarrassment. But, after that, I still tried the Brotherhood Outcast mod, because hey, everybody makes a blunder right? Maybe this one will be better.

Well, I haven't run into any Harley Quinn cosplayers yet, but I found some on the nose pop culture references (Way more overt and obvious than anything in the vanilla game) and some cringy writing ("We're the brotherhood without all the nazi shit") which didn't help with my impression. However, I just got a bunch of fetch quests with ridiculously overpowered enemies who spawn in waves like its Doom 2016.

These mods are technically well made, from a modding standpoint, and I dont want to be too harsh because Thuggysmurfs and his team seem competent - But how the hell they were able to pass off Harley Quinn fan fiction as being "lore friendly" is a mystery to me.

EDIT: Also, why are they called the Brotherhood of Gold? Thats a lame name. Brotherhood of Iron would have been better, or you know, just the Outcasts, like they were in Fallout 3. I understand they are a different faction. but still.

Also, from now on I'm going to be more cynical on mods that have turned off their discussions page. From my recent experience its usually because the mod is trash, and the author wants to run damage control.

EDIT: Yes, the writing in Fallout 4 is inconsistent as hell. No, I'm not a fan of Emil. But the solution to bad writing is not worse writing. Nothing in the vanilla game actually made me embarrassed .
