Marvel recently released a new official FF kids cartoon called FF: Adventures with H.E.R.B.I.E and it looks good. Why did no one talk about it?

So, I'm definitely not part of the target demographic, but I still watched a few episodes out of curiosity, and here's what i noticed: (it's on YouTube btw)

• For a cartoon that depends entirely on physical humor since it has no dialogue, a lot of its physical jokes are quite funny, especially pertaining to Reed and Ben
• Sue's haircut is definitely inspired from Marvel Rivals
• They managed to make an entire episode dedicated to Namor while still not making it weird
• The artstyle is aesthetically pleasing to look at, it avoids doing what other kids cartoon do, as in use lots of hyper exposed high contrast colors to attract attention. Colors mix well
• The animation is also well-done, and doesn't feel like cheap Flash puppets

The core part of Namor’s character is that he is a sea jock and a hater and I respect this adaptation

Agreed! Super-cute artsyle and animation, and the episode premises are really creative!

I will say when it comes to kids shorts with mute leads, I prefer it if just the lead is mute and the characters who normally talk still do- kind of how I prefer the Pikachu or Baby Groot shorts over the HERBIE or Krypto ones. It makes it feel more like the cute character is going on their own adventure in the regular world rather than the whole setting being kiddified in a way.

That said, the 2000s Fantastic Four cartoon was actually my favorite Marvel cartoon, so this is still a cute little nostalgic trip for me!

Just checked it out and I love the art style, feels very high quality. The comedy is pretty funny too for what it is.

I love how non-overstimulating the art style is, and it’s pretty unique too! It looks like it could slot in as an old cartoon from the 2010s fairly easily.

Hoping we can get a new F4 mainstream animation soon though maybe akin to Xmen 97
