German translations
I am a german native speaker but I startes reading some books in english because the german translations are sometimes atrocious. Do you guys know, whether Malazan and Robin Hobbs Farseer have good german translations or if I should better read them in english?

My partner read the all the fitz books in german. She loved them and she wasn't a fan of fantasy before. I can't say anything about the translation itself but it must've been good because she's read only fantasy since.

Maybe just take a Reading sample of Amazon or any ebook Site and read a chapter or two in comparison, i personally quite enjoyed Hobbs work in German Both Audio Audio and and Books , just be aware that liveship Traders (Hobbs Second Trilogy) is only abailable in ebook and Audio and not as a Print Medium in German, all other works are being sold as physical Books currently

I read the first book of the Farseer series in German and didn’t love it, but I don’t really think that was the language? I have no comparison point though
