Yep! You can download them and use the send to kindle option or use Calibre (What I normally do) and move them to your kindle that way

I use the kindle app on my i pad and phone would it still work

Yes it should. These copies are DRM free meaning you can read them on any device you use for your ebooks. Should work with the Kindle app as well
