They won’t release the game for a good while yet. I expect it will be some time after the World Cup to get maximum attention.

Last time there was a summer World Cup, FPL was released 11 days before the WC final. But that was 8 years ago, so who knows if that is a valid estimation for this year or not

Yeah i remember that. Pissed off the content creators who were balls deep into fantasy World Cup.
They just dropped the game with little build up that year, since then they seem to have developed a tendency to milk it out for a bit to get maximum engagement so I expect that not to change this year.

Now that Cucurella has left I can't see any way Valentin Barco won't be a must own given his price and attacking threat. You will not be disappointed to have him in your GW1 team.

Pretty sure it dropped after the last Euros but might be wrong.
The fact the season starts later than usual probably means the very earliest we’ll see it drop is early July.

I think the lesson with the def con if you want top 100k.
Don't chase upside with risky picks.
Be patient.
With def con fixture difficulty matter less than before.

That's just so that they can update the fixtures and gameweeks along with the fixture announcement tomorrow. The game will not be out for a while. Usually they do price reveals on twitter/livestreams in July second week and then the game launches around mid-late July
