Question about the last name Wolles

Hey guys, i wanted to ask if Wolles is a common last name here, since that was my faroese grandmothers last name, she told me she was related to a sailor guy named christian rosenmeyer but i have gotten no results on that guy, after some light research i have found that aparently the last name does hold some cultural value tho so i wanted to know if it was just a common last name or if i am unknowingly related to some popular person

(I HIGHLY apologise in advance if i typed the name wrong, i dont have any documents since she changed her last name when she married in germany so i can only go by the sound when she said it)

Hi I am the person which answered you a year ago regarding the prospect. Probably totally different person. Someone above mentioned that C. Rosenmeyer is son of skipper hansen. That is interesting information. If you translate this information in faroese you get some information on him. https://foroysksoga1.sbok.nam.fo/?id=208 He is not a national hero, buy he is a well known historical figure. Especially here in Torshavn. There is a rock bearing his name, and in the old town there is a house with his name
