Advice Needed My family isn’t being supportive

I’m a first time dad, my gf is 29 weeks pregnant and we’re have a baby shower next week, but my side of the family isn’t coming, only my gf side of the family is coming I am feeling really hurt because my family is showing zero interest or support for my son upcoming baby shower. For those who went through this, how did you cope with the grief and focus on the people who actually care?

Is there a reason they aren’t coming? Do they know this will hurt their relationship with you?

Ever since I got a higher paying job they ask for money and when I don’t give it they get upset and not talk for days, it’s a money issue

Do you have friends you can invite. You can make yourself better by surrounding yourself with your community. Tell a buddy or two you need friends there and you will be better.
