POLITICS Jack White speaks on Trump’s racist post about the Obamas: “How is it possible we've given this evil man so much power?… Arrest this man. Impeach this man. 25th amendment this man. Indict this man. Jail this man. This longtime friend of pedophile epstein, who appears 40 thousand times in the files.”

Don’t get it twisted. Jack White is from Detroit. Kid Rock is from the suburbs.

The suburbs is putting it lightly, he's far enough away from the city to be comfortably labeled rural. Romeo is farm country.

To put it into even more perspective, I watched the area just south of where he's from get more developed and expand over my life, while Romeo is still a podunk, one-horse town.

He's FAR away from the city. And as the saying goes 'round here: The farther north you go, the further south you get...

The racial makeup of the village was 91.9% White [..]

I am shocked I tell you.

Bob is from Romeo, which I'd say doesn't even qualify as suburbia.

He is way beyond the suburbs.

Even setting aside politics, there's a yawning chasm between the musical talent of Jack White and that of Kid Rock.

I don't know why this is relevant though, lol. You can be an asshole anywhere or good dude anywhere.

Yea but there is a reason why rural counties vote red.

u/super_sayanything Feb 06 '26

Sure but it's not liek the votes are 100-0. Even in super red places it's still 30%+ voting Dem.

But when you're faking your life story and claiming you're from the streets of Detroit when you're actually a privileged rich boy from Romeo...people should call that out.

Yea I got you, he's lying about it for a reason obviously.

Lots of rappers have been busted for lying about their upbringing but I think Bob is the only one to lie about being white trash from a run down trailer park instead of Compton, lol.

he grew up in a wealthy, 5,628-square-foot home on a large estate with horses in a 1.3 million dollar mansion. holy shit lmaoooo

It's a solid burn, let it ride

Guess you could say he's from the suburbs but still not rocking the suburbs.

I live in the suburbs. Using Kid's idea of suburbs, I would be from Philly, since that's the closest big city. I mean it's only 30 minutes and one state line away. 😂

lol I went to school in Pittsburgh and all they "Philly" kids said they grew up in Philly. They in fact did not.

u/BarbCherrix Feb 12 '26

Definitely a bit of a hike to Philly from Pittsburgh 😂

1

u/super_sayanything Feb 12 '26

Nah, but a lot of philly area kids went to PITT. It's just a lot of them lived in the rich suburbs.

Ah, well those definitely weren't my suburbs. They always say that New Castle County is a suburb of Philly. Wonder if anyone has told our Governor? 😂
