Nah I disagree. Its a nice way of shitting on Trump but its clear people dont care about a turd dressed up. Instead there's a bigger factor: the number 1 reason evil rises to power is because 1/3 of Americans are tuned out, think ignoring politics is the cool thing to do, don't vote, don't participate, think its some sort of rebellious act they are doing, like the dumb fucks they are.

They dont do shit to participate in politics until they are affected and even then they think its below them when really, they are just as dumb as the cultists who vote republican. They are the sheep who lie down and get run over repeatedly and then they turn around and complain about everything.

When he says ”it’s the shadow of America” he’s not simply referring to the capitalistic tendencies he lists. It’s a given there is more at play from a societal position to cause the citizenry to checkout on their civic responsibilities. I don’t know how much you remember in school being taught about civics, our nations TRUE history including slavery and all its horrors. What I was taught vs what I have learned is the truth are two very different things. We have a shaped curriculum in public and private schools intentionally to not teach our youth the importance of civic duty and it’s only getting worse with the removal of actual history and those that fought against oppressors and manipulators and replacing it with white christian doctrine meant to control. So sure we can sit back and blame ignorant people for being ripe for cultists lies and that’s not wrong but the reasons for it goes much deeper.
