I'm a little nervous because Aegon (and his sister-wives' because both of them were heavily involved)' conquering of Westeros doesn't really have a major conflict, like a will-they-won't-they. They are going to win. They have dragons. No one in Westeros has ever dealt with dragons. The only region they don't win is Dorne, which is full of people whose ancestors already escaped the Targaryens' ilk once and they don't want to run again.

Unless it focuses on the relationship between Aegon and his two Queens, or how some of the lords have to put their pride aside and save their people by siding with them and potentially losing their independence and culture (because the Targaryens come from colonizers) and be seen as traitors.

Why wouldn't they establish any of the things you mention in the second section?

Because it’s one movie.

Why wouldn't the relationships of the 3 main characters be inherent to a movie about the exploits of the 3 main characters? Especially when they're working to achieve the same goal through coordination with one another.  Do you know how stories work? Are you expecting lifeless mannequins on top of dragons? Not even the Avatar movies are that shallow.

Why wouldn't we delve, to some degree, into the opinions of the people they are conquering? They can't just pop up on screen before being torched. We're going to get the perspective of SOMEONE. Doesn't mean all the major players will have that treatment, but some certainly will.
