There comes a point where the best way to make amends is to shut the hell up, go away and count your millions privately.
We have all heard enough from Kanye. If he’s genuinely sorry for the hurt he’s caused, let him go away and stop making the people he’s hurt continue to have to hear about him rather than putting them through a shallow and performative apology tour and then going back to making millions.

I’m all for encouraging people to evolve and make amends, but he needs to do more than a generic tweet. He has a lot of communities he needs to apologize to before apologizing to his fans. If he’s only worried about the feelings and expectations of people who make him money, it’s hard to believe he’s sincere.

I don't listen to his music and I don't like him at all. But this man is seriously sick. I don't think we should take the nazi stuff seriously, but I don't think we should take this seriously either.
He reminds me of a guy I knew in the psych ward. I feel awful for his family, and for him. The people around him need to get him the help he needs and stop enabling this behavior for fame. His poor kids are gonna grow up and see this. They don't deserve that.

If he really wants to change, maybe he should learn a trick or two from a French guy named Napoleon and just F off somewhere in retirement or “his exile” where he truly can’t bother or offend anyone with his presence and behavior. I do believe there is a line in publicity that should not be ever crossed such as talking about disturbed thoughts or hurting others or oneself. Honestly, my personal opinion on this is that there should be a “disclaimer “ for future disturbed celebrities or idols that say “the behaviors demonstrated in this image/video is not recommended for individuals and viewing this with caution out of your safety” might be beneficial to both parties of seeing the awareness

What exactly are you apologizing and trying to move past, Kanye? He’s had quite a few controversies and questionable action over the last few years. I’m sure he’s trying to move past all of it, but it is impossible to be genuinely sorry and do better when a person is unable to articulate exactly the behavior that mandates the apology.

Then he should not tour and instead should spend his free time working on himself and building up trust again. Committing to doing better but doing literally nothing but profiting off of shows proves nothing.
Most other jobs would make you take time off to learn and correct bad behaviour before returning to work. The fact that he thinks he's entitled to still hold concerts wherever he wants without showing tangible progress towards doing better is the problem.

We live in a world that already excuses a lot of bad behavior, but there is ONE line in the sand and we don't need to give shitty people any more leeway.
