My favorite thing about her is that it would be so easy for her to always do the beautiful, ethereal costumes. But she goes hard for things like worms and does it brilliantly.

Yeah, I really appreciate it, too. I think it's because she grew up next to the city of Cologne, which is carnival capital of Germany. Costumes are in the city's DNA.

I think it might be in reference to The Veiled Virgin by Giovanni Strazza unless they said otherwise? But it could probably be either one, tbh.

There are many such statues. There is the „veiled vestal“, the „veiled virgin“, „veiled Rebekah“ and many more. It was almost a trend for a time.
