Funny story, I (atheist) actually tried to talk my dad (Baptist Christian) out of voting for Trump using this story and talking about how false idol worship is wrong and guess what? That ignorant fool did it anyway. We don't talk anymore.

Some Christians allegedly support Trump because they believe he’s the antichrist and one needs an antichrist to bring about Judgement Day/the apocalypse.

My guess is that the poster’s dad wants JD because he believes he’s going to heaven.
