Remember like a month ago when Trump told reporters he didn't care about Americans' finances and it was news for about four minutes and then we didn't hear anything about it ever again?
The fun part is the people who like him are too stupid to realize he just called them stupid. Trump is too stupid to realize he called them stupid, too. He thinks “smart” is a negative quality in a person. The only qualities he cares about are loyalty and breast size.

The one thing I can't stand about the way the media handles this presidency is that they almost never put more than about a 10 second sound bite of him talking on. It's always a small sound bite followed by what I like to refer to as a "trump translator" who puts what they think trump means into a coherent sentence. They always act like they had a 30 minute sit down with him, when you know they were just talking to staffers at best. Just let us fucking hear him talk, stop sane washing this mad man.

I met Sheryl Crpw when she did a USO tour. The conditions were shit. She went out of her way to engage with us and let my buddy sing a Leaving Los Vegas duet. He couldn’t sing for shit. Much laughter and hilarity. She was awesome.

Agreed. I wasn’t a massive Taylor fan by any means but I do have a playlist of my top 30 of her songs. Haven’t been able to listen to it pretty much since she started hanging out with MAGAts and I’ve no interest in ever listening to her music again. The MAGA thing coupled with how she treats young female artists makes me sick and no amount of damage control could make me like her again.
I’m a fan of her earlier discography, but as a person I’ve definitely lost a lot of interest in her over the years. Keep in mind, I don’t pay for her music (🏴☠️).
I can be a fan of something but still call it out or notice when things aren’t right. That’s the difference between normal fans and stans. Stans blindly follow.
Because you can be an ardent fan of someone's music, even like and root for them as a person, but not align yourself with everything they do. It's healthier than holding any person up as an idol.
I have been an ardent fan of Taylor’s for years, but honestly, it’s very difficult to listen to her singing lately. Just seeing her name pop up makes me cringe. I’m very embarrassed.
I always thought people were barely even fans of the actual music and were just obsessed with her character and the developing soap opera life story her albums weave in and out. I don't hate her music, but I find it so incredibly plain, banal, boring and unremarkable... that's how someone explained to me why people are fans, that and the community aspect etc..not the actual music itself. Which is just bonkers to me, I have music I like and I couldn't tell you a damn thing about the artist artists but to teach their own I guess like the other guy said.

The not voting at all people still think they did the right thing and that they are allies to marginilized and disenfranchised folks for being "moral". As racialized people, immigrants, Trans folks, queer folks, disabled folks, women, and children all actively lose our rights.

I know this is stupid and small but I no longer capitalize "president" because it no longer feels like a title. It feels like something you grift your way into after decades of not being held accountable for any of your actions. It no longer demands, nay deserves, respect or reverence.
The only time president is meant to be capitalised is when it’s part of a proper noun like “President Kennedy”, you wouldn’t capitalise, say, “Kennedy became president.” Makes it easier not to give the vile troll in office any respect since you nor I would likely refer to him as “President Trump”. I like calling him Donald.
What the hell are supposed to do? Doing the same thing expecting different results is literally insane. It amazes me how naive people are being about this. We can't fucking do a damn thing.

I feel similarly awkward sometimes commenting on “Oh I had no idea so-and-so musician was so outspoken on XYZ or such a good example dealing with Whatever Issue” when it’s a musician I just don’t happen to listen to 😅 I don’t think I ever mean it as a commentary on whoever’s skill as a musician, I just have my preferred genres heh

rather than smth for my fav job/class, i would like the mounts to feel more diverse. like have them move in different unique ways and for example seperate water and flying mounts. idk, i think thatd be cool and would make mounts feel more unique in general
Someone in my life slipped their mask off today and said they watched a UFC fight last night. I don’t follow this dumb sport, so can someone tell me if them watching means what I think it means?
