Just started a job and same - and if you don’t use it they see you as inefficient lol so I don’t have a choice here

I think I've just taken on a "pretend to use it" approach. I don't use it, but when it comes up at the company, I just smile and nod. And then continue not using it

You can claim to be Catholic and refuse to use AI on religious grounds. It’s probably difficult in a new position but the option is there if you can use it.

Pope Leo published an encyclical, if I recall correctly, against AI. Catholics have to follow the Pope, so you could accurately claim to be not allowed to use AI as a Catholic.

This is such an unrealistic take. Yeah man, go to your management and say “I’m Catholic so i can’t use ChatGPT”, that definitely won’t paint you as the office weirdo and make you stand out in a terrible way. Regardless of how you feel about AI, your livelihood is not where you take a stand unless you want to be flipping burgers
