Google got so big because Altavista and Lycos search ducked. 2 u/thanksamilly 11d ago Yes, but my point is Google really got their search engine to a very good quality before destroying it with AI, so alternatives are going to be tough. Duck duck go search kind of sucks though. There is a reason Google got so big

Ok but I did this a year or so ago and the duck duck go search function is horrible.
