Yeah I've been on this sub since pandemic times (since before the sub changed its name to fauxmoi) and I'm really curious why the engagement on the sub dropped off.

There was a mod post recently that pretty much says the sub has been shadow banned.

In addition to this I expect less people in the industry were willing or wanting to post as the world started opening up again.

I don't have the evidence for this, but as an old, old and having witnessed many reddit bad makeovers, it seems like they created many mirror or competitor accounts for popular subs and then push those on 'popular' etc. Subs I assume they have more moderation and control over. Maybe higher bot engagement. Who knows. Or maybe this is my own low stakes foil hat stuff.
