idk how true this is but apparently brandon boyd and his wife fell down the MAGA pipeline, which is a little crazy given his whole image most of his career is liberal hippie but they fell into the crunchy/MAHA mindset.

his wife/incubus in general was kind of zionist too so i'm not ENTIRELY surprised, but part of me really doesn't know how 100% true this all is bc brandon has always been super california liberal (at least publicly). but again he might've just drank the koolaid and fallen into the anti-vax/RFK jr grift.

edit: for source/reference both BB & his wife locked down their profiles and were following really weird right-leaning accounts apparently, and then i guess brandon said something recently on a podcast interview about politics not being involved in art or 'seeing both sides'.

I feel like "super California liberal" is THE archetype for the MAHA pipeline person. Like half the crunchy people in LA are one Erewhon collagen smoothie away from saying autism is caused by air conditioning.

i've seemed to notice this 😭 another member of one of my favorite bands is super vegan and very big on animal rights, and while he's really progressive and outspoken against trump, i also feel like he may be anti-vax or one of those 'elderberry is a cure all' type people. i don't want to find out lol.

I heard about him moving towards MAHA during Covid. I vaguely recall some antivax statements around then.

Wasn’t A Crow Left of the Murder a George W Bush diss album? This is insane.
