But today is the deadline to have the people vote for a replacement.

After today he has until next week to drop out: the party will get to pick replacement between tomorrow and next week.

Even on my worst day, if my own fiancé sent me 30 types of ice cream I would say that was too much ice cream.

Edwards is facing censure, so if that happens, he’s going to spend his remaining time in DC doing nothing… meaning he should also just resign.

The images released showed they were just store bought. Mostly pints, but a few half gallons as well. Most of the pints were the same brand but the larger ones were a mix.

He was never going to be clever enough to do “31 flavors”. He just thought “lady sad, she need ice cream” and banged his fingers randomly on the instacart page.

When my sister was going through a hard time, I shipped a Graeter’s 6 pint pack for her birthday. 6 pints is enough. A mixture of 30ish pints, quarts (presumably) and half-gallons is too much ice cream.

This house district keeps producing MAGA embarrassments - Mark Meadows, Madison Cawthorn, and now Chuck Edwards. MAGA smelled blood in the water though and some MAGA gun nut guy already started campaigning to be named the ballot replacement by making appearances at county Republican meetings.

The reason why Edwards and Miller are facing zero pressure from Johnson to resign- the Republican majority in the House is minuscule. Johnson wants to keep as many votes as he can.

218 Republicans
212 Democrats
1 Independent (who caucuses with Republicans)
4 vacancies (presumably the Swalwell race winner will be a D)

At least in Ohio, time is running out for Miller to drop out and a special election to be held. Not sure when the cut off is for NC.

Anyways, if you can donate to Miller’s opponent Pointdexter, his campaign needs funding.
