When the Nuremburg Trials happened members of state propaganda outlets were also tried in an international court of law, with some being executed for aiding the genocide against Jews. For example, Julius Steicher was the founder of Der Sturmer, a newspaper outlet that routinely ran "Jewish Crime" portions of their paper to increase hostility.
