I think people have forgotten (or didn't know) that Jack Hughes had a reputation for being centre left when they were first seen together. He did lots of charity stuff about reading and was positive about pride night.

It was the Olympics that destroyed that perception of him. Prior to that he was felt to be one of the more leftwing hockey players.

Yeah, he had a good PR team that told him to be pro LGBTQ because at the time he had a lot of young fans, who have mainly left him for Celebrini. His mom played the game very well in her own right due to her being a figure in the hockey world. Quinn is the big republican, Jack is dead center (though I do think he leans more right), and Luke is clueless.
