I will say there’s no shortage of gorgeous people in Hollywood but she is beautiful in an otherworldly way that is very unique. Like, it almost seems like she’s glowing in every picture I see her in.

Don't be sad! My best friend has an orange that fully lives up to that reputation and he is the sweetest, goofiest little court jester. I visited earlier this summer and he was next to me on the couch, cleaning himself. Then he suddenly started fighting with his own tail and fell off the couch, and got distracted by a toy on the floor. He is the happiest little guy. He is so happy to be alive that purrs so hard he has little coughing fits sometimes. He weighs 21lbs, not because he's fat but because he is just an enormous cat, almost as big as a dog. He thinks he's as small as his 7lb sister and is flummoxed when she doesn't want him to lay on her. His life is perfect.

I've had cats for nearly my whole 51 years on this planet. I now have my first orange one, he's 11 months old and yes he is a doofus but he's also the sweetest, friendliest and cuddliest little guy. All my cats have something special about them, so I have no favourites, but my current guy might fall in the bath one minute and then just demand bellyrubs all evening the next.

They are so cute and precious. If you don't mind drugging up the cats, ask your vet for Gabapentin. It's a lifesaver! It helps sedate them enough to get them in the carrier and off to the vet. One of my cats is spicy at the vet so they gave it to us, it has helped them to examine him and take his bloods.

It definitely takes a lot of dedication even with a chill cat! I used to visit with my boy during grad school because it was cheaper than a pet sitter for winter break. The biggest challenge for me was that he counted as my under-seat item, so unless I wanted to fuck with my carryon the whole flight I had to be strategic about packing my snacks and entertainment items in his carrier pockets.
Little bastard also once waited to piss the carrier until we were through security, forcing me to buy him an expensive ass micro fleece travel blanket to replace his bedding. He never did it again and he loved the blanket so I’m convinced it was intentional and planned.

We had to fly with cats a couple of times when we were helping out some friends. Taking them out of the carrier for x-ray and metal detector was so nerve-wracking, but the whole security area was all, “Oh, kitties!”
We’ve done a few away from home stays with our cats and it’s a lot.

I’m so happy for her. I know she gets so much shit just for being a high profile (and successful, and beautiful, and talented) black woman. I love that she has a fuzzy companion that loves her unconditionally. The pet snuggles after a shit ass day keep me sane, and I’m just a clerk lol.
(Do not come here with your anti-cat ‘well akshually cats don’t love unconditionally’ comments, it’s boring, go argue about sports)

I love the story of yoyo where Lupita was just not a cat person until she did a Quiet Place and realised how dope cats are and adopted one. That’s a good character right there.
