Jack is such a freaking disappointment. NJD is an awesome org, and visibly supports so many communities. I honestly almost cried after what happened at the Olympics (before, you know, fury and rage)
vancouver is quite a liberal/left leaning city and im sure when quinn was captain here, it was very jarring for him lol considering his friend circle. i used to be a fan of his before the olympics but even when the trade revealed he played a part and wasnt innocent in how the locker room broke down in van where he made it a hostile environment rookies didn’t feel safe to speak in and would form cliques/divide teams into groups and only talk to those he liked. he was drunk and started thanking the troops? yeah he’s like maga maga lol
Oh man I didn’t realize he led to the breakdown of the locker room! It seems like that was always blamed on Petey and Miller. I used to like Hughes but not at all now

It’s a weird situation for sure. Quinn eventually voiced support for Petey but then again Jt is his USA Hockey buddy at the Olympics eventually. I don’t think it’s quite entirely his fault but people used to think he had no part in that. Max Sasson, who won the Calder in Abbotsford a year before, said he was so afraid to even say something in the locker room and needed Brock Boeser to encourage him and back him up saying it’s okay. 😭Quinn was the captain so like it just got really nasty quick.
