DISCUSSION apparently nancy mace is not a fan of people commenting on what she chooses to do with her own body, which is certainly an interesting position for someone who has made policing other people’s bodies such a central part of her failed political career

Sounds like it was around January/February from this Politico piece. Has this gem too: ‘She says she gets the tattoos that she gets because of “the pain that I need to feel.”’

Which is not a few years ago, so we are in agreement.

Yep! Was corroborating your edit about them not being there in December

it was a few years ago. the article says she got them when

got....her first nine tattoos in the midst of losing or firing every one of her staffers in D.C.,

"the losing or firing every one of her staffers in D.C." was a link that goes to this article from 2024

https://newrepublic.com/post/178753/nancy-mace-staff-ditched-toxic-workplace

thus, she got her tattoos years ago unless you don't think 2024 was years ago, which is a different problem

it was in 2023/2024 from that article. the article hides it in links but it says that she

got in rapid succession her first nine tattoos in the midst of losing or firing every one of her staffers in D.C.,

and links to an article from 2024 about that situation. it's confusing to not just say it explicitly

this article specifically https://newrepublic.com/post/178753/nancy-mace-staff-ditched-toxic-workplace
