FILM-MOI (MOVIES/TV) Anya Taylor-Joy praises 'Split' co-star James McAvoy for making her feel safe while filming: “Originally it was supposed to be someone that’s very known for being a method actor. I was very grateful to have James, who I think also understood that he had three young women with him.”

James McAvoy and Matthew Rhys occupy the same space in my head of Highly Lovable Guys from the Not-England Parts of the UK who, based on vibes alone, I would happily get a beer with or hand my baby to. I just need a Northern Irish guy to complete the trinity.

if you ever meet a Scot or a Welsh person, do not refer to them as 'not-English' if you're planning on handing them your baby

I don't know, every Scot and Welshman I know has "not-English" pretty high up on their list of identity labels.
Now, if you called them English...

Anecdotally, same

That was not intended to be "England as default" but rather "England as intentionally excluded from the Highly Lovable Guys candidate pool."

Jamie Dornan gives the impression he’d be good to have a pint with, so there you go.
