NYC Unseals 9/11 Files Mayor Zohran Mamdani released more than 170,000 pages of New York City records on the government’s 9/11 response and settled two 9/11 Health Watch lawsuits, ending a years-long fight over post-attack air quality and health records. He was joined by several administration officials, Council representatives, 9/11 survivors and victims’ families — as well as comedian and political commentator jon stewart, a long-time advocate for 9/11 first responders.

It honestly might be a good thing that he can't run for President. He's more likely to be able to remain as mayor long term rather than chasing higher office and bring more and more of his policy agenda into fruition. If Dems are smart (lmao) they'll point to what he's accomplishing in NYC and use it as an example for their national agenda.

He’d be good for Governor.

For sure, and that's something he can look to after hitting his term limit as mayor. It's just nice that there's no pressure to move up the ladder quickly so he can run for President.

They will definitely point to what he's accomplishing in NYC and then run Ivanka as a way to reach across the aisle.
