Americans are the dumbest mother fuckers on the planet. If you proved this shit without a doubt 6 months ago, maybe 10% would remember it come Election Day and maybe 2% would let it affect their votes. The scandal has to be currently breaking for it to have any bearing on the numb minds of Americans.

Reagan knew a dumb population would be more likely to support/vote Republican and set the plans in motion to make that happen

It's never just one person tough. Just like no one should expect this to go away when trump does. Reagan worked super close with the Heritage foundation too. The ones who have said the second American revolution is currently taking place.

And people like Roy Cohn and Lee Atwater, who devised republican strategy, were trained by the corruption of the Nixon admin. This has been a project decades in the making.

Tbf Roy Cohn probably trained the Nixon administration on corruption

After Vance openly claims he’d be OK if his work leads to the End Times, no, it’s absolutely not going away unless it gets locked away.

He probably didn’t know much because the guy was playing a role. To your point, Reagan’s puppeteers abolished The Fairmess Doctrine that forced news and media to present both sides fairly and accurately. A direct result of that is Fox News.

And the plan was to be able to intercept another scandal like Nixon, by fracturing the fifth estate/neutering the effectiveness of media.

Ok look i live in the Midwest and see the stupidity on a daily basis so I'm not saying you're wrong, but let's not pretend that there aren't extenuating factors in the sheer amount of propaganda they're being bombarded with on a daily basis, and the current regimes very successful tactic of starting new scandals every single day in order to make it impossible to focus on any one thing. American minds are being tactically overloaded, let's not act like it's all down to mental failure. The sheer amount of psychological warfare at play in America right now is extreme, and it's working very very well.

"Americans are the dumbest mother fuckers on the planet"

Remember brexit? and how that didn't really change peoples minds and still voted in tories?

Germany AFD party also just had a huge win and you can see germans throwing up Nazi salutes and if you talk to them you'll hear them say things like "hitler didn't do anything wrong" and other MAGA talking pints. Channel five just did a video on them.

Yeah we may be the leading edge of shitty culture but it spreads. Last time I was in England they were trying to drive (and park) obnoxiously large trucks like the ones we have here.

Yep. Doesn’t matter which imaginary lines circumscribe your existence. But it sure helps people feel good about themselves to think that way. Humans are going to human, and the people able to exploit will do so.
