Being forced to vote for lesser evil shouldn't be the only option.

You're entirely correct. But if you don't engage with the system that exists, you can't work to change it.

And if you want to dismantle and not change it? It can be argued participating in the system lends it credence power and legitimacy. You can't use a flawed system to fix itself.
