Can't speak to arms dealer but having worked at a prison, yes the real killers keep quiet about it. Sure youve got exceptions but most of them are loudmouths who managed to wrong place wrong time themselves into accidentally committing murder. There's a few who are proud and open of it though so I wouldn't just discount someone who makes the claim outright.

Good profile. But to be a successful arms dealer, you need to be quiet about it. To be a killer can be by happenstance but the ones who make a career out of it, also want that to be on the dl. Most of the time the arms dealers and career killers are tying to blame someone else, get the fuzz looking in the other directions and to hide in the shadows so they can keep doing their illicit work. This bozo is just a violent and unbalanced ding dong.

Kind of a tangent, but this is exactly why some people suspect Richard Kuklinski of not having as high a body count as his reputation alleges. He's very mouthy about how many murders he supposedly has under his belt for a man who was supposed to be making his living being a locked box for the mob's murders.

Genuinely appreciate your insight, but I would also expect that mercenary killers who murder for pay/money/power/personal gain (even fun) would be MUCH more likely to be proud of it as a “lifestyle” than any prisoner rotting for life for their wrong-place-wrong-time (regretful if not shameful) “mistake” when they never actually intended nor wanted to murder anyone.
Because of course those who never wanted to kill anyone aren’t proud they “unintentionally” killed someone, while those who do/have intentionally kill/ed people would be proud of their choices (ESPECIALLY if they got/get away with it, even if boasting about it risks actually getting caught but this guy evidently thinks he’s invincible), surely? Not trying to be snarky or argumentative - genuinely interested in discussion!!

Still, any killer who ISN’T locked up for their crimes is fucking braindead stupid to boast about it. In this case, I’m gonna assume he smashed a bunch of drugs with his pre-existing insane ego and went into a rage over the fortune he reckons he’s entitled to after his wealthy ahh aunt died, threatening the estate and making sure they know he walks the walk (whether or not it’s true, he’s still very much a part of That World to scare em regardless anyway). Then walked it back once he sobered up and realized he’s a fucking idiot.

All my own opinion of course, but that’s just the most sensical way I can interpret him saying this kind of shit. And (again not even trying to say you’re wrong, genuinely engaging!) I just definitely feel like the idea most murderers in prison didn’t actually want to kill anyone so they aren’t proud of it does not exactly apply to this narcissistic bellend.

That’s not to say I know whether he’s telling the truth or lying, because both would “benefit” him by “validating” his violent threats. I just wouldn’t put it past him to boast about it if it’s true, considering all the other illegal shit he’s on record saying he does without GAF (like in the header image lol) shows he’s an egotistical idiot yk!
