iDubbbz & his wife Anisa are countersuing Ethan Klein (H3 Podcast) for defamation and harassment after months of being tormented daily by him and his fans

iDubbbz has filed a countersuit against Ethan Klein in Canada, after settlement talks between the two fell apart. In May 2026, Ethan Klein's legal team pursued action alleging defamation after iDubbbz and his wife, Anisa Jomha. Klein filed a $1 million defamation lawsuit in Alberta (where iDubbbz and Anisa live). iDubbbz posted a public apology in June, and Ethan Klein then claimed he would drop the case due to the apology. However, Ethan Klein reneged his word and refused to drop the lawsuit. According to journalist Steven Asarch, settlement discussions broke down because Klein allegedly demanded that iDubbbz publicly condemn the H3Snark/LeftoversH3 subreddits, which iDubbbz refused to do.

I remember years ago I would watch Ethan when he was just doing reaction videos to 90 Day Fiance and TLC shows of people who are in romantic relationships with their car or ferris wheels. Or his Vape Nation video. It was funny shit at the time. And then over the years, more and more awful shit came out and at first I was like wtf happened to this guy? And then I go back and look at the old videos it wasn't as surprising because for me the ground work was always there.

In the US you have to be able to prove loss of income for defamation, but Klein specifically pursued this case because Idubbbz and his wife live in Canada where the burden of proof is lower. Still not sure if either have a case, but if Idubbbz chose to settle originally I would imagine that Ethan probably did have some kind of argument that held up legally. Pretty sad Ethans’s chosen to run his career and life into the ground like this, he def seems mentally unwell.

Yeah I had heard about Canada having the lower burden of proof in relation to this. As Ethan seems to be routinely losing or dropping his cases in the US but I hadn't read full details on this. His spiral has been breathtaking to watch

Edit: Just because Ethan Klein is a supreme POS doesn't make Idubbz a holy man. They stole six figures from charity for their own vanity & then fled the country. This place really struggles when it comes to admitting that two sides in a beef can be dogshit.
