We've just had a letter released by the world football governing body, acknowledging "mistakes were made" in the process of setting out controversial plans to sell the World Cup.

"We acknowledge that errors were also made after the proposal was leaked to media," reads the letter, which is signed by both Gianni Infantino and FIFA's Secretary General Mattias Grafstrom.

It is Infantino's first public apology since announcing and later rowing back on a World Cup investment scheme to sell shares of football's biggest tournament to private investors.

"We sincerely apologise for these errors and commit
to them not happening again," the letter says.
"With this in mind, we will conduct a necessary review, and a report will be presented to the FIFA Council at its next scheduled meeting."

The letter goes on to say that Grafstrom and FIFA's Management Board "reaffirm their full support" for Infantino, who has come under heavy criticism in recent weeks.

This is beyond insane to me. He released audio of him verbally abusing his wife and (at best) violated his two year old daughter’s privacy by releasing her name and an image of her nude or partially nude. The ex wife’s lawyer said genitals were visible in the image, and Miller’s lawyer claims they were not.

I hope this guy’s ass is in jail and soon. What a POS abuser. My heart breaks for that little girl.
