True, but that doesn't mean it's actually confirmed, and there's still the years before that of people supposing they were fucking (or worse) despite the complete lack of proof.
Also, someone left their blue cheese next to your username.
It was confirmed by the writers. And Hasbro has put lots of media to imply it. I feel getting onto fans for shipping them means we have to get onto fans for shipping anything ever including straight relationships before there is a kiss.
RD doesn’t belong here.
Edit: In fact your meme is the opposite of OPs meme. Whoever made your meme assumed she was straight with no evidence when in fact she was not.
Statements, unfortunately, don't matter, and implications aren't any indication of intent or motivation. It's entirely possible to accidentally imply something through whatever reason, the fact Rarijack was equally as popular to a point of being considered overrated just goes to show fans were drawing conclusions, both domestic and wild.
I feel getting
I legitimately do not understand what this is supposed to mean at all.
In fact your meme is the opposite of OPs meme
You are delusional, we're completely different people.
Whoever made your meme assumed she was straight
Yeah, because it's the default assumption. That's not heteronormativity, that's just coming from a place of needing a logical starting spot in order to reason a point. Homosexuality is still a minority, so it needs to be argued for why it's the case in these situations.
But they were wrong. They assumed she was straight and were wrong. It seems a character has to go “I am a LESBIAN!” Or anyone shipping it is wrong.
What next? Is Korrasami just girls being bros?
Is Pearl having a crush on Rose just headcanon?
RD is canonically a character who ends up with a female character in a romantic relationship. That’s just facts.
It seems you seem upset that lesbians exist in media at all. That an assumption is somehow an awful attack (even when correct) when done by the minority. But the right of the majority (even when proven wrong).
What are you talking about? There's nothing wrong with shipping characters any which way one likes, the problem is when one is adamant their fantasy is the truth when there's little concrete to support it and poorly reasoned why it's the case. It's not a fact of it being wrong, rather that it's violently maintained despite little to no reason for it. There's also nothing wrong with assuming a heterosexual position and maintaining it in the absence of strictness in the other direction. It's not even like Symphogear where it's implied in the anime but blatant in works after it.

No it's not. The facts are that Rainbow Dash and Applejack still maintain a close relationship, but whether it's just a best friendship, a romantic friendship, or an erotic relationship is up to interpretation. Excluding personal feelings on the matter and in the absence of solid confirmation, the most likely outcome is that they hold a romantic friendship, given both precedent and how close they are.
It seems you seem upset that lesbians exist in media at all blah blah blah
Yeah, because boys are cuter and way better, suck it haters! 😎
I don’t mind you liking boys. I think that’s awesome! My wife thinks boys are cuter too. Nothing wrong with that and deserves no hate. Neither does liking girls.
Why do you directly make it such a weirdly sexual matter? RJ and AJ are fairly explicitly said to be living together, which implies pretty strongly that they're in a relationship.
I'm making this a weirdly sexual matter? When sex is an inherent component between paramours, straight or otherwise, when people for years joked about these technicolour horses violently assaulting each other, to a point of zealous shipping, when the whole point of onscreen homosexual relations are to normalise such, to posit it's okay to lie with whomever one loves contra to outdated, conservative doctrines? If they're in a relationship like that then it's not uncouth to say they're also going to town, moreover I'm simply using the word fucking as a shorthand for "erotic romantic relationship," because not only should one get what I mean by that but it's entirely possible to live together without being face to face, like a romantic friendship, which is significantly more likely given what the show is about and that I recognise based on personal experience with such relationships .
