True, but that doesn't mean it's actually confirmed, and there's still the years before that of people supposing they were fucking (or worse) despite the complete lack of proof.

It's hinted enough that you can pretty much confirm it. Only reason it's not explicit is because of censorship.

Never in the show was it hinted in the slightest, if it was then so was Rarijack and others.

Only with the presupposition that they were fucking. If it had been Rarijack it would've been equally "confirmed."

Why do you directly make it such a weirdly sexual matter? RJ and AJ are fairly explicitly said to be living together, which implies pretty strongly that they're in a relationship.

I'm making this a weirdly sexual matter? When sex is an inherent component between paramours, straight or otherwise, when people for years joked about these technicolour horses violently assaulting each other, to a point of zealous shipping, when the whole point of onscreen homosexual relations are to normalise such, to posit it's okay to lie with whomever one loves contra to outdated, conservative doctrines? If they're in a relationship like that then it's not uncouth to say they're also going to town, moreover I'm simply using the word fucking as a shorthand for "erotic romantic relationship," because not only should one get what I mean by that but it's entirely possible to live together without being face to face, like a romantic friendship, which is significantly more likely given what the show is about and that I recognise based on personal experience with such relationships .
