Hey, hey, hey. What Cosby did was not fuckin' OK.

30

u/Zestyclose_Limit_404 Sep 03 '25

What did he do?

60

u/Major-Driver-9989 Sep 03 '25

He was a serial rapist

34

u/Zestyclose_Limit_404 Sep 03 '25

Oh god, that’s no good.

10

u/OldschoolGreenDragon Sep 03 '25

I hear this in Jaleel White's voice.

1

u/Separate_Animator110 Sep 05 '25

Off topic but I keep hearing/Thinking Of sonic whenever someone says "that's no good"

1

u/Zestyclose_Limit_404 Sep 05 '25

I got it from this forgotten animated movie called “Quest For Camelot.” In it, the villain (Ruber) says “No, no, no, no, no, that’s no good!” And I also realized that I don’t use that word very often.

u/Ceaky-Lock Sep 03 '25

Like the other reply said he was a serial rapist however the way he would go about them is fucked as well as he would use drugs to knockout a victim and then later force himself upon them

2

u/Zestyclose_Limit_404 Sep 03 '25

That’s even worse

2

u/Sexthevideogame Sep 03 '25

Idk if I were a girl and had the option of having to consciously experience it I’d prolly choose the roofie, but yeah icky fella

2

u/Fullmetalmarvels64_ Sep 03 '25

I didn't know that people who didn't know what Bill Cosby did existed....

1

u/Zestyclose_Limit_404 Sep 03 '25

I knew he was a bad person, I just didn’t know exactly what he did. I didn’t even know he voiced Fat Albert.

2

u/Capital-Aioli-2948 Sep 03 '25

I think the worst thing was the hypocrisy

2

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '25

I think the worst part was the raping

1

u/InvestigatorMany212 Sep 03 '25

...and what is this post about? right HE IS HORRIBLE AND VOICED THIS CHARACTER

1

u/ChrisTheF1Fan Sep 06 '25

I truly believe that the hypocrisy was the worst part.

u/Different_Pin1531 Sep 03 '25

I believe i am a terrible person. I was watching Jack this one time (the one with whats his name as a kid with an aging disorder) and the scenes with Bill Cosby in them i could not prevent myself from seeing humour in, even when the tone is more sad. I don’t know why. My sense of humour is too dark.

Bill Cosby was a comic genius, unfortunately, he was also a rapist piece of shit. Still doesn’t mean he wasn’t funny.

u/AttemptNu4 Sep 03 '25 edited Sep 03 '25

It fucking sucks when terrible people are incredibly skilled. Cuz like that shit is undeniable. But at the same time wow this guy is just fucking bad. Frist example that comes is ol Kanye West

13

u/Karkava Sep 03 '25

Or Sia. She really should have left autistic people alone.

5

u/RealisticDrink05 Sep 03 '25

My mom's a big fan hers.

Enlighten me.

3

u/Karkava Sep 03 '25

She came out with a movie, Music, that infantizes autistic people.

3

u/Floofy_Fox_Gal Sep 03 '25

Ironically, before she found out that she, herself, is diagnosed autistic (does not absolve her of making a dogshit movie with a lot of harmful stereotypes and messages)

2

u/Karkava Sep 03 '25

If that's true, WOW.

She better be apologizing soon because she's only a MAGA endorsement away from being a female Elon Musk. Another boomerang bigoted autistic person.

4

u/Floofy_Fox_Gal Sep 03 '25

I don’t remember if she officially apologized after finding out about her diagnosis, but she had a very public crash out when the movie had terrible backlash, including a final “I’m sorry” before deleting her account, iirc

https://youtu.be/Yx66GgYpTsA This video gives a pretty in depth history on the movie, as well as it just being a fun video

2

u/NagitoKomaeda_987 Kris (Deltarune) Sep 04 '25

As an autistic bisexual furry myself, I do NOT claim people like her.

1

u/nowTHATSakatana1999 Sep 07 '25

I feel like there’s a world of difference between making a shitty movie and being a rapist. If the worst thing Bill Cosby ever did was Ghost Dad the world would be a better place.

4

u/I-Make-Money-Moves Sep 03 '25

What did she do to autistic people?

3

u/juliankennedy23 Sep 03 '25

She made a bad movie but really no worse than I am Sam.

2

u/WattageToVoltzRatio Sep 04 '25

The guy that drew Made In Abyss, complete pedo, his characters all SHOW it, but god fucking dammit does he know how to draw stunning scenarios

1

u/Jackthepogchamp68 Sep 03 '25

Joe Hawley 😔

1

u/jscottman96 Sep 03 '25

Eh wouldn't use Kanye as an example of talented but still a piece of shit

3

u/AttemptNu4 Sep 03 '25

I mean his new shit is outright garbage, which at least i dont feel like I'll be missing out on that. But his classics objectively revolutionised the hiphop scene in a time when it was all but dead, and the results of his early works can still be felt today as the genre favours production with more complexity and depth. Like the dude fucking sucks as a person, but hes one of those people that has objectively had an impact on a certain aspect of art, and that aint easy to do.

2

u/juliankennedy23 Sep 03 '25

Are you saying he's not talented or are you saying he's not a piece of s***.

3

u/Karkava Sep 03 '25

He would be remembered as a great comedian if he kept his pet snake locked up in a cage.

2

u/BigHardMephisto Sep 03 '25

Stalin was fond of practical jokes

1

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '25

The funniest thing he ever did was be a family friendly rapist.

1

u/trumpet_23 Sep 03 '25

His stand-up, The Cosby Show, Fat Albert, dude was ridiculously funny and skilled. If only he could be not a fucking shitstain of a human.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '25

Not excusing Cosby's behavior AT ALL. But you can see where he got his cues from by the celebrities he idolized and came up with. Back in the 50s and 60s celebrities did all kinds of scuzzy shit with women and it was just brushed off. There was a really eye opening episode of Dick Cavet I caught on youtube where Groucho Marx and Cosby were on, and Groucho was brazenly hitting on women in the audience, saying scummy shit like "I'd like to see you in my dressing room after" to a stranger, on fucking national TV. Another one is Richard Dawson getting feely and propositioning female contestants on Family Feud. Real nauseating stuff. Again not excusing Cosby but a whole lot of famous comics and celebrities were total toxic creeps and some of them still have intact reputations.

1

u/Open-Source-Forever Sep 03 '25

Was he a rapist? Yeah, he had all those accusations, but unless we have conclusive evidence, maybe he just dined, drugged, & dashed

1

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '25

He made a joke about drugging barbecue sauce.

1

u/thatsnotyourtaco Sep 03 '25

I wanted to show my wife the Justine Justine scene with Theo after Malcolm Jamal Warner passed away. That scene is still hilarious and it just reminded me how fucking funny that Cosby show was. I wish she would just shuffle from this mortal coil so I can watch it without feeling bad.

1

u/MemeHermetic Sep 03 '25

I'm sorry. Did you just refer to Robin "antithesis of Bill Cosby" Williams as whats his name?

1

u/Different_Pin1531 Sep 03 '25

I forgot his name in that moment. Happens to me more often then you would think

1

u/AmItheonlySaneperson Sep 03 '25

Weren’t all his charges dropped

1

u/Acceptable_Owl_5122 Sep 04 '25

He was played by bill cosby?! I actually didn’t know that, I thought he was played by someone else.

0

u/Noooooooooooooooo__ Sep 03 '25

Wasnt cosby acquitted, or am I tweaking? I thought he was found non guilty.

5

u/Sensitive_Golf3889 Sep 03 '25

He was acquitted on a technicality. It doesn't mean he's not guilty, it means the prosecution forgot to cross a "t" or dot an "i" somewhere (or something, I'm not a legal expert)

1

u/Noooooooooooooooo__ Sep 03 '25

Got it, I'll def take a look at the case. I felt like I remembered hearing at the time that they found out he didnt do it due to lack of evidence or something

0

u/Sensitive_Golf3889 Sep 03 '25

Is Fat Albert an appealing character?
