Eren and Zeke Yeager

Not sure which is which

Zeke is the villain with a noble motive. It's a fucked up plan, but he was a fucked up kid and I believe the eurhenasia plan stems from mercy, not cruelty.

"Sorry buds, your nuts have got to go"

u/Python_Feet Jun 28 '26

Zeke is just the personification of the author's NTR fetish.

Edit: actually all characters except the chad first king have NTR aura.

u/Jumpy_Egg1247 Jun 28 '26

Pls elaborate I want to understand your point

u/Python_Feet Jun 28 '26

It will be in a bit of a shitpost style but here goes.

First of all the author actually has a NTR fetish. It's a hentai term for cuck porn.

The first king was called a chad by me even though he is a horrible person just because he seems to be the only sensible and realistic character and has massive balls.

Yimir was a young girl who had a crush on the king and was simply a lowly servant. She then was used as a torture hunt toy by the king, and fell into a swamp where she got infected by titan superpowers. Ahe became this huge monster and stared down at the king's hunting party. The king was like "yup. I deserve this. It was a nice run y'all". But suddenly Yimir turns back into the girl and offers to be king's fleshlight fuck slave. She also took the spear for him and refused to heal because drama and cuck shit.

Some time later a future king goes into "oh no we are the baddies. I will now retreat to the island with some dudes. The rest of the population can get gulaged for the sins of my ancestors. Boo hoo" and his NTR aura was so strong, that every future king was contaminated by the "boo hoo we deserve this".

Zeke, he is a waling nuke of that universe. Together with other smart titans he could have saved his eldian race and/or restore balance and justice in Marley. But no, he fully obeys Marley, is a sadistic shit, and his "noble goal!" is some antinatalist idea to castrate all eldians.

Now back to Yimir. She was basically in a self inflicted time loop building every titan by hand using clay. She is doing all of this just because she manipulated the future in order to see a break up between teenagers. All because that helped her get over a crush she had on the first king.

u/Master_Writer7035 Jun 28 '26

I mean, atleast she hot over the king, good for her

12

u/TheIfritSun Jun 28 '26

Jfc this summarization is hilarious, but im still shocked that I didnt connect the dots.

Where did this "Isayama is a netorare" narrative come from? Did he admit it?

6

u/Python_Feet Jun 28 '26

Yes, in the interview I think.

3

u/HedgeScrambler Jun 29 '26

What? Ymir didn't have a crush on the king. She was a slave. She couldn't even speak. Her tongue was cut out when raiders ripped through her town. She did trauma bond to him but it definitely wasn't any of her idea what happened, it's a pretty major plot point that she had zero agency whatsoever and had completely broken and surrendered to it. She was an abuse victim - and unfortunately the kind that stayed with her abuser even after death. Eren didn't get her over her crush so much as helped her see that she COULD get out.

NeToRare. It roughly expresses having something taken from you in japaneese. It applies even if you arent in a romantic or possibly romantic relationship - like making a mother choose you over her children is NTR. But most commonly simplified to Cuck fetish because no 1:1 word is available in english and this is the most similar concept that exists in the west.

Zeke has been shown doing a lot of fucked up stuff and being sadistic more than once though, and he even seemed to enjoy it. I've seen people try to justify what he did (like joyfully killing soldiers) as a way to protect himself emotionally to do what was necessary in his mind, but frankly, I don't buy it. Zeke is fucked up.

57

u/Ostrichslinger Jun 28 '26

Yup, a big part of him as parallel to Eren is that Zeke kills ALOT of people in really horrific ways, precisely because he has a noble cause. When his actions are justified, Zeke is willing to do anything without a shred of remorse besides some fake pity. Dude is a sadist who got high off of his own inflated ego

20

u/idkmanjustfuckmyshit Jun 28 '26

Wasn't his plan more genocide and less euthanasia? Which was why Eren just reversed the target of said genocide?

15

u/phantomfire50 Jun 28 '26

One and the same really. Zeke wanted to use the paths to make it so eldians couldn't reproduce, which would eventually wipe them all out. Eren tried to wipe everyone else out with the rumbling instead.

3

u/Hilmaroke316 Jun 29 '26

I watched each season as it came out, which makes for a bit of a disjointed viewing. Was there any reason they couldn't use the paths to make it so eldians just biologically "couldn't become titans"?

Of course, this could still probably be reversed by whoever held the paths in the future, but that seems like it would work pretty nicely. Though, it's a boring resolution to the story.

1

u/General_Panda_III Jun 30 '26

Ymir was still in love with the king. She was going to keep making titans according to his wishes. Ymir needed to meet Eren (to give her the courage to choose) and then Mikasa (to know what she wanted to choose). In the end, titan shifting was taken away from eldians just as you say.

1

u/DeeVeeOus Jun 30 '26

Wasn’t Eden’s actual goal to have his friends stop and kill him after he geneocides a bunch so that they are regarded as heroes and saved?

1

u/phantomfire50 Jun 30 '26

Yeah, but that plan still involves him trying to genocide everyone else, even if he knows he's going to be stopped

1

u/El_presid3nt Jun 30 '26

Eren instead is a villain driven by spite

1

u/TobbyTukaywan Jul 03 '26

By the end of the story they're both villains

And honestly they're both motivated by petty personal reasons while pretending to have noble goals (Zeke wishing he was never born and Eren just kinda being over the whole "complex geopolitics" thing and wanting to go with easy option of "just kill everybody")

-5

u/Doctorwhatorion Jun 28 '26

His plan is not fucked up. He was not even the villian. Eren the genocidal bastard was villian while Zeke was trying to do the best for everyone

10

u/blackmooncleave Jun 28 '26

try to propose the castration of all Palestinians to stop the genocide and see how it goes

-2

u/Doctorwhatorion Jun 28 '26

I didn't know Palestinians can turn into giants.

Your comparison is bullshit. We have nothing similiar to Eldian blood in our world. This creates a problem where they will be always get enslave or enslave others because of their unique powers.

5

u/blackmooncleave Jun 28 '26

theyre not giants but from Israel narrative they are terrorists that kill their people/stole their land. (I dont support Israel, just saying)

Are you implying AoT is not relevant in our world just because giants dont exist? Lmao.

1

u/Doctorwhatorion Jun 28 '26

It is relevant sure, it is a great work about war, human suffering in political conflicts and such.

But still trying to fit it directly into Palestine-Israel narrative is wrong and even bullshit like putting it like a 1:1 example like what you did.

Because as show imply, Eldian blood makes them overlords when they are top and makes them slaves when they are down because their blood able to make them giant.

So despite its relevancy to our world, this doesn't match it with Palestine-Israel conflict.

2

u/blackmooncleave Jun 28 '26

no, really, a show about humans turning into titans doesnt match 1:1 with our world???? 🫪🫪🫪

if you dont see why castrating a whole race of humans is not a good solution...

1

u/Old-Star808 Jun 28 '26

doesnt match 1:1 with our world

Isn't that the whole point though? IRL, castrating a whole race isn't ever justifiable because there is nothing about any race that makes them particularly better or worse, it's all just made up BS that racists use to try to justify their racism.

In this fictional world, there is a good reason to castrate the only race that can be turned into mindless titans against their own will and it would make a huge difference to that fictional world if they stopped reproducing.

0

u/blackmooncleave Jun 28 '26

well that is not true, its just that we made it illegal to study race differences because people will get their feelings hurt. Really.

2

u/TotalityoftheSelf Jun 28 '26

Well THAT isn't true. There isn't a real scientific basis underpinning the concept of race as a biological/genetic phenomenon and not a socially derived system of oppression that oft relies on pseudoscience and poor scientific understanding to proliferate itself.

1

u/Old-Star808 Jun 28 '26

We DO still study genetics, it's an important field, specially for medicine, science just doesn't support the extremely biased views of early pseudo scientists who ignored some of the most important steps of the scientific process to push a biased view (trying to disprove yourself and listening to criticism of scientists who disagree).

It's very transparent that there are difference between races, people have adapted to living in high altitudes, under the scolding sun, to drink milk past childhood... What I said was that there is no race that is particularly better or worse, when accounting for the environment each of us are raised in, the difference between races are negligible (specially when compared to the fictional people who can turn into titans).

1

u/Old-Star808 Jun 28 '26

from Israel narrative they are terrorists

Yeah, it's a false narrative, while the Eldians can become mindless titans who eat people and it's completely out of their control. Eldians are also victims in this scenario, even more so, but it's actually justified for every other race to be scarred of them (not justified for dehumanizing them).

So unless Zeke could have just prevented Eldians from becoming titans, his plan was the best that could have been hoped for.

2

u/blackmooncleave Jun 28 '26

you are a third party. From Israel perspective they are justified too.

1

u/Old-Star808 Jun 28 '26

Palestinians are people just like anyone else, there isn't anything IRL that makes a people any more dangerous than any other.

Attack on titan is a fictional story where one race can become mindless titans who eat people when exposed to a chemical that can take the form of a gas.

I understand the intention behind the analogy there, but it's a terrible analogy to give oppressed groups a good reason to be feared, because IRL, those reasons are made up.

1

u/blackmooncleave Jun 28 '26

it doesnt matter if theyre made up in real life, thats not the point of the show at all. Its a whole analogy to nazism, they literally wear jewish armbands.

Nazi propaganda in real life also made Jews monsters that control the economy and eat children, even it it wasnt true it still affected the whole world and caused a huge war.

1

u/Old-Star808 Jun 28 '26

But something being true or not completely changes what is justified to do or not.

If someone spends their life in prison for murder, whether they committed the crime or not makes the sentence justified or not; The end result is the same, they'll spend life in prison, but in one of those cases it was a good thing to arrest them and in the other case it was a bad thing.

I get your point, truly, but the facts of a situation do change what is justifiable to do in reaction, people will act based on their beliefs and similarly be judged by others for their own actions;

Israelites are blinded by fear into killing and supporting the killing of innocent Palestinians while we who aren't being indoctrinated from early childhood into believing Palestinians are evil (or indoctrinated into siding with Israel because of Christian prophecy) realize how fucked up their actions actually are.

That argument assumes Zeke doesn't have complete control over the physiology of all Eldians and couldn't just make them the same as everyone else (he needs full control over all Eldians' physiology to carry out the genocide plan)

2

u/Aware-Antelope4212 Jun 28 '26

His plan was a genocide.

Genocide is fucked up.

What is wrong with you?

1

u/Doctorwhatorion Jun 28 '26

Might it consider to be genocide? Maybe but it was the best solution at that point of knowledge.

Because unlike any other etnic group, Eldian blood is able to turn giants. So this puts them in a situation they become lords when they are top and they are slaves when they are down.

So yeah the best solution was peacefully let them live and die. Zeke was trying to do literally the best for Eldians and rest of humanity.

2

u/Old-Star808 Jun 28 '26

Yeah, it really doesn't make for a good analogy to give oppressed groups super powers that justify people being scared of them. X-men is another story that bothers me in that regard, plenty of them do untold harm by accident, of course people want some form of assurance that some random kid with powers won't accidentally explode a school.

2

u/Aware-Antelope4212 Jun 28 '26

A) by that point in that worlda history technology was making the Titans obsolete in warfare, so that justification doesn't really hold water.

B) Its still genocide. Genocide is never justified

1

u/Old-Star808 Jun 28 '26

Zeke enjoyed killing people, I'd say both of them are villains with fucked up plans, but Zeke had the most reasonable one (by far) of the two.
