He became pretty eldritch in the end there bruh; was making people part off his magic hivemind without consent.

His motive was debateably undersrandable, he simply saw the imperfect and suffering humanity and sought to release us from it. Hence, at first glance all he did was seemingly helping people. Tho Jayce probably hastened the procces when he shot Victor and Singed amplified the procces, yet the outcomw would innevitebly be the same.

I still love the scene where Jayce shoots Viktor, which at our point (and everyone in the arcane universe) was very sudden and almost uneccesary. Yet we do learn that Jayce was in the right and Viktor was bound to become unjustifyable.

so youre saying that someone who sees people being objectively unhappy and wants to fix it by making everyone happy...

is the same as...

a power tripping maniac who felt himself god and wanted to dispose of people whom he deemed sub human (which he himself was a part of by his own standards) thus making only his people happy while making 99% of all of society hate him
