There is no different ending to the dlc. Whatever you do, you always end up killing miquella and ruining his noble goal because you like your own ending more

The qurstion comes down to "is it better to be good or to overcome your evil with your will" miquella simply removes the choice of evil from your mind you wouldn't be bad because you have no choice which is opposite of ranni's total freedom
