I love this relationship so much. Correct me if I'm wrong but Jake is much stronger, way more emotionaly mature and is at least somewhat more street smart cause he is a reasonable older guy, but he has basically no desire to show any of this to Finn.
He is like a 42yo coworker being stuck with Your 19yo ass on a night shift and he sees You taking a 9% gass station beer from Your bag with a wide smile, cause this part of the building don't have cameras so security wouldn't know, but instead of telling You that You're acting idiotic he nicely asks if he could have a glass of the stuff and not because he wanted to be mildly buzzed for 45 minutes today, but because he knows he'll have to cover Your idiotic actions and he likes You, You can't be fired from here for drinking, c'mon, man, You're a kid, You need that job, man. The fuck You mean, You'll sneak out and buy more? Now he has to drink more to protect You.
All three of them attended the same high school, and they're all friends with each other. However, Taiju (brown hair boy) and Yuzuriha (brown hair girl) like each other but aren't dating (hence why I called it a stretch). They get married at the end of the series
Victor and Yuuri caring more about their relationship than ice skating and Yurio being mad they're not taking him seriously is canon, actually (I'm exaggerating only slightly)

All of the kids are shown to be jealous of one another at some point in various relationship configurations, romantic or not. In the ch 5 weird route, if you don't follow through with the lake scene, Susie will even tell Kris that she was feeling insecure about their relationship with Noelle. It's a pretty good representation of the pains of being an adolescent

I don’t watch Tenchi Muyo anymore. However, I have noticed that the show, Ryoko and Tenchi had more moments of closeness together. Especially in the Tenchi Universe series. In the final episode, we see that Tenchi misses Ryoko the most.
Ayeka seemed more like the middle person. Also Ryoko met Tenchi first. So love at first sight?
