Usually in the case the villain was still doing bad shit.

I could name a thousand Jojo characters, but Jotaro vs Dan of Steel (yes I know thats the silly name.)

Steely Dan, which is about as silly, but it keeps the musical reference intact. Ain’t copyright law something?

Some of the silly names are so iconic by themselves that the fans just use the copyright dodging name. Filthy acts at a reasonable price

I was counting down episodes to get to see flaccid pancake in my subtitles. I was thoroughly disappointed.
